Missing camera control
This app is missing a lot of camera settings when using a DJI aircraft.
No color space control, no codec selection and the aperture setting its crazy and doesn’t work.elgaranon
Not a good way to change what was great
I’m always respectful so I’ll make this quick and Politely. It’s Missing so much from the previous version. I haven’t used the app but a couple times for LAANC approvals which were great. Only took less than one minute to get approval sent to me. I Haven’t tried with this version but looks like it’s basically the same easy process for approvals so that’s good. I just really liked all the other functions. I have no issue using landscape mode with my iPad or iPhone so not sure why it isn’t working for others. My same login and password worked fine as well and has everything saved from previous version. I hope this gets updated quickly for others as I don’t need often. I think it would have been better to keep the older version working until the new version was closer to being complete so pilots could have a choice. Patiently waiting. I used to enjoy using this app because I live near an airport and rely on LAANC authorization. Today I fired up my app in order to fly. Unfortunately the app won’t allow me to create the area where I will be flying. It allows me to see my are yet cannot create a flight zone. The map moves but the handles on the flight area do not allow me to do what I need to do.SmartAz

Missing features from predecessor
This replacement is missing many of the features from the original aloft including Faceid login and a 7 day weather forecast. This forecast was super accurate and now you only get real time weather at your location. Wth bring back the easy to use interface and accurate forecastVtSkier71
A disaster
Third different app from this company for the same purpose in about a year and each version seems to get worse. this app doesn’t have 90% of what the last one did for instance, where are the archive Laanc approvals? No face login etc. a giant step back. Kitty hawk was best.bkushner
Less intuitive than the classic.
Portrait view only. Less user friendly. Hard to find logs and saved locations. Needs lots of work. Unsat rollout of this product.@zbT
