This app is only deletable and not usable 🤮… It is not an app that can be utilized for anything. It seems like all IT personnel want to do is take something that’s mediocre and make it worse. Congratulations you have accomplished your mission.👍
I’m sorry, but this new app has made flying dramatically harder. Before, I could easily request authorization. Now it’s nearly impossible. Why do people continually mess with things and make them harder than what they need to be? They need to trash this version and go back to what they had. As of right now, I cannot even use this.

Landscape is still weird and shows less information than portrait somehow.

Really?!?! Come on…. Do better. Stupidity annoying.
This app is noticeably worse than the old Aloft app. They haven't implemented FaceID in the new app, so every day I launch the app I have to enter my password again. They've also split the login page into two parts so it's a lot of extra steps.
The app also "feels" worse to navigate and use. I'm pretty sure the whole thing is web views now, the animations of sliding in the nav bar and such are just not good now.
One feature request that could save this app is to be able to reuse settings from a previous LAANC request. If I'm often doing flights in the same area, I'd like to have it save the polygon and last used duration so I don't have to zoom in to get the area just right every time.
And also, please add FaceID back.

Hi, Aaron. Appreciate the feedback. Air Control on iOS is fully native Swift, and at the new website -- air.aloft.ai -- we have more advanced LAANC features like you suggested, including a duplicate button for those recurring authorizations.
With the latest version, you shouldn't need to login again unless you logout. We saw an issue with some users refresh token, but if you're still having issues, our support team is an email away -- support@aloft.ai. I used to like checking the weather/airspace etc on my Apple Watch.
It is no longer available on the watch. Would love to see this again. A little difficult to switch over with existing account but haven’t had any other issues I use a dji rc to actually fly and this app for laanc and conditions.

For your LAANC history, the full archive is available on the web at air.aloft.ai where you can search, print, duplicate, edit, sort, etc.
On the app, you will see all of your current and upcoming authorizations directly on the airspace map and advisories table.

I can’t even sign in! Forgot my password an the old app but since I used Facial ID it was never a problem but now I can’t even change passwords so the new app is useless to me and judging by the other reviews it looks like I’m not missing much smh
