  • enjoy and nice sound

yeahhh at last i bought and upgrade to Elite on my PC & Mac it work very well, like to play it all. and i already paid for standard bias fx on my ipad now.
play with it it work great and love it. connect with my irig hd2 and good to go! high recommend this.
and i design to upgrade it more after this when it has special offer for a royalty customer like me.

so sad I paid for elite on my Mac but can’t transfer to mobile version, that mean I have to pay separate.

  • Make sure Microphone is set to ON in Apple settings!

I'm not sure why, but there is no processed output from the app using an external interface unless Microphone is set to ON in the Apple settings for this app. Seems counter intuative to me and apparently to many other users looking at their help page on what to do if there is no sound output.

Perhaps a warning pop up might help?

Otherwise, a great app and great models.

  • Having a problem with distorted tones

I loved using this app on my iPhone 8 to record metal and other genres that require a distorted guitar tone. Ever since I upgraded to my iPhone XR I haven’t been able to get much distortion if at all even if I turn the gain all the way up with one of the amps. If there is a fix for this please let me know because I have no idea how to solve this issue.

  • Requires Microphone access?

Why does it require microphone access even if you aren’t using it? What’s the use of mic anyway for guitar input anyway!? My guitar won’t output sound if you have your mic disabled. Bias FX doesn’t require that setting.
  • No longer working properly with midi commander

Good variety of pedals and great sound quality. But I only bought this to use with my MeloAudio Midi commander which worked fine for a while. Now I can no longer switch pedals on and off even though the signal from the pedal reached the Bias FX. I can choose which pedal controls what but then power toggle doesn’t work even though all the other commands do. This worked fine before so it seems like one of the last update ruined this. What a disappointment…

  • The Best Option

Simply put this app is the best option you’re going to have at the current time. Once you try this out my recommendation is to not be discouraged by the presets they have been supplied by the company , but instead to go to the Pedalboard section where other users have created their own settings and uploaded them for others to use. Here’s where you will find a shortcut through the hours of labor intensive work that has been done for you to surpass the awfulness that can be had with the presets. Unfortunately you will still find some god-awful sounds in here as well, but the quality and quantity is greater than the trolling and toned deaf offerings combined.

  • Positive Grid is tone death....

Ok, this app sound great, no doubt about that, but when it comes to AUV3, Positive Grid is just completely tone death. Other developers are making guitar sims that are audio units and making Positive Grid more and more obsolete.
I’ve been buying Positive Grid apps since they first hit the IPad , but I don’t see myself spending another cent unless they make their apps into audio units.

  • Bias 1 vs Bias 2

Basically I find the tones in Bias FX 1 are much better than Bias FX 2 ? I’ve tried version 2 but I always end up back at Version 1.
  • LAST PG PURCHASE EVER!

First, their marketing on this product was so unethical. If you buy the cheapest package, you can’t upgrade to neither of the other 2 packages. Wow, really PG? If I remember correctly, I got a “discount” for being a loyal customer and paid $70 for the whole package. With all the initial bad reviews, the price was lowered to I think $40, for everyone. Other major issue. Does it work on this iPad. In the App Store it says yes. PG should advise buyers that if if they want to use this app to it’s fullest potential, you need an A10 chip or whatever the case may be. I cannot use this app to its full potential on my iPad mini 4. They use 3,000 words to describe their product, but can’t add this info. Oh no, then less people would buy it. Again, unethical. No Celestion IRs after what, more than a year? I also cannot transfer packs from Bias FX 1 after many attempts. THIS APP IS STILL BETA!!

  • Versatile and convenient

I love this app,i use it everyday,it is well worth the money,i used the free trial and was so amazed with the sound and all the effects that i had to purchase the elite pakage(again,it is well worth it IMO) also with the bias amp app brings it to a whole other level of creativity and sound,i can bring my ipad, irig hd2 ,guitar and a bluetooth/portable speaker and litteraly jam heavy face smashing tones anywhere “is that kerry king i hear outside”? Nope just me at the park on the bias fx2 app ..i love how i can jam with out needing an amp/pedals or electrical outlets(as long as ipad and speaker are charged of course) but its truly a remarkable app and only thing id do different is id of gotten it earlier,im not a company rep nor do i get anything for this review im a regular dude who loves to whale on his axe and with 20 yrs exp and at 37 yrs old ,this app saves me time money energy and space, glad i can worry only about “headphones or speaker?” TLDR: GET THIS APP!
