KTM needs have the dealer explain this KTM rip off better
I’m just as upset about this app and the fee as everyone else that bought an 1290 adventure
20,000 dollar motorcycle and have to pay to unlock the features that where advertised

KTM Superduke GT 2020
Bought my bike ‘brand new’ a couple of years ago. Had KTM ‘My Ride’ app which was easy to install and worked as it should and then stopped working a few months ago. Spoke to my dealer who informed me that it no longer works and have to install a newer app called ‘KTM Connect’!!!! (having also to pay for the privilege of it 😡 which is disgusting as KTM upgraded the software so why should I have to pay twice!!!!!!?)
Having downloaded the software I’m having no connectivity with the navigation although the phone is showing ‘connected’.
Absolutely rubbish.
The developers should of checked the software properly prior to shoving it out on the market for purchasing.
Really am looking at other alternative manufacturers now as all I see from KTM is apologies and no solutions!Show lessAnnoyed Marcus

Other options are available.
I tend to listen to directions rather than watch a screen, so not having a full screen map display is not a big loss for me. There are plenty of free apps out that will do the same job, calimoto, Waze, Google maps. I paid to see how the turn by turn on the relatively small LCD screen looks and I’m a little underwhelmed. Certainly won’t be paying for premium when other free apps give me the functionality for nowt. Save your money unless you really want to see the arrow on your screen.Show lessRizotherozzer
Will corrupt existing ktm MyRide and you’ll lose it
Installing this will corrupt the ktm MyRide you have already paid for so it will no longer open and it has been removed from the App Store so it will be gone forever. You’ll have to pay again additional for this app. Both apps are complete garbage for navigation. My advice is to not install this app and just use ktm MyRide for phone controls if you already have itShow lessthisonek
Don’t waste your effort
The old app gave turn by turn directions on the dashboard. This new one is no different to running nav in your pocket on Google maps or Apple Maps and listening to it only. Waste of time and money! Zero stars, if only I could!Fleebubflobble
KTM should refund all MyRide Owners
It’s not okay to charge someone for a navigation app in 2018 when they purchase a 20k motorcycle, then delete the navigation app from the App Store and force the owner to pay again for a similar product a few years later because you rebranded it and made the old app version crash when opening. Lacks basic function
I used to use KTM My Ride, and although it was basic, and cost £8, it worked.
But it suddenly stopped working, and was no longer available on the App Store. Guess what, replaced with this app, and another £8 unlock for the same thing, but worse.
I tried the 2 week trial of the “Pro” version.
- can’t put in postcodes. Have to do street name, then guess which of the dozen “station road” I want.
- speed limit for area isn’t always correct.
- routes it makes kept sending me to bus gates and other restricted roads that would earn me a hefty fine.
- if you dare to re-route, it has a 50-50 chance of crashing the app and not showing you a new route.
I feel stuck with this app, as KTM won’t let any other apps connect to their screen.Show lessRorymck112
Double charging.
I would like someone from KTM to contact me regarding why I paid $9.99 for the old app, which now seems to be discontinued, for me to download the new app asking for more money. It’s outrageous to think you can charge that much for an average app (The old one) in the first place, let alone think you can then go and charge people again!
