  • There was an error please try again

    This greets me at login and after each lesson. It’s not saving progress and showing this error. I even tried on a different device and I get the same. I do not have ready access to support there is a week plus lag. A subscription app like this should have dedicated real time customer service that can troubleshoot. I am likely to cancel. I have opened two tickets.

    On the plus side lessons are fun but as I m erroring out so often I am on pause until I can see it fixed.

If it's still occurring please try the following: - Restart the app properly by quitting the app (instead of minimising) and opening again. - If the issue still persists, log out, and then log back in again.   • “Oops. An error has occurred”

    This is absolutely five star hardware and software design, but the errors are killing me. I have TWO of the keyboards and actually went out and bought a new iPad to replace my below-min-spec model when I thought it would help the crashing problem, but I’m now seeing that error message after every exercise, practice or song. Given I’ve rebooted, reconnect the keyboard, reinstalled the software and even gotten a brand new machine on which I’ve only ever run this app (and two games - I’m not a monk) I’m pretty sure the problem isn’t on my side. Perhaps my iCloud save file is corrupted? Whatever it is, it’s screwing up my progress, throwing my stats way off, and generally making me feel weird about having spent a small fortune. Give us an update on the bugs, ROLI!

  • Good but buggy

    Guys… I’m a big fan, but…. There’s a reeeeally annoying error message after all of the songs and it doesn’t save my score. Any updates on the fix? Thanks
  • When it works

    App is amazing and kids are learning a lot BUT the keys have to be plugged in to work which is problem 1. The battery will not hold a charge. The second and probably worse problem is the app crashes 80% of the time. I’ve tried updating iOS on the iPad, uninstalling app, restarting, different devices, androids, and it throws an error “there was an error, please try again”. At times you can push ok and continue on but more often the app will completely freeze requiring an uninstall. Kids are very interested and engaged but the freezing problem leaves them and me frustrated. Support is difficult to obtain through the website but I am about to open a ticket to see how things are resolved. 5 stars if it worked like it should.

In terms of the battery, you should have received an email about a fix for this.
  • Error

    I love this app but at the end of every song and game I get an error and can’t continue.

    Also, I would love to be able to connect to my lumi midi without having to open the app sand through the Bluetooth settings as I love to use it on other apps, as well.
  • Great product but needs work

    It’s a really great product but I put it down earlier in the year because the app was too buggy. Now picking it up again, I see some improvements but also new bugs. Eg.
    - after every song attempt/completion I receive an error to send me back to the homepage.
    - occasionally midway through a lesson it will crash and start the lesson over
    - keys occasionally don’t register.

    My recommendation is while this product is still being tested and improved is to add a bug nub that users can submit bugs as they occur with error logs to developers.

    Also this bugnub could allow users to submit feature or song requests that we can upvote to feel like we are being heard for new songs and features.

  • Not usable in its current state

    I am writing this because I wish I knew about the errors this app has. It seems like a fun app, but I could only use it once with no issues. Since you pay extra for the digital lessons, this should be a top priority for the developers, but it’s been broken for weeks! Getting in contact with an actual person at this company is also challenging. Considering the device and the app are so expensive, I expected more. They are actively trying to bring in more customers even though their app doesn’t work for many of their current customers. Until an update fixes these saving issues, I can’t give this a good rating.

  • Error the time

    I love the app but at the end of every single class it says there’s an error and it’s not tracking my progress accurately. If was was fixed I’d give it 4.5 stars!!

    ****Im updating to 4 starts!! Developers, I would love if I could know which accuracy I play in the exercises not just on challenges. Sometimes I think I do really well but it’s hard to know the total accuracy!

  • App crashing

    After each course or song an error message appears: “there was an error, please try again”
    It does not save progress anymore.
  • Great concept

    Overall I like LUMI, but the annoying error on iPhone must be fixed
