Terrible
Bikes are rented by time so you are in a rush the whole time. Can’t relax and enjoy ride. Bikes are real heavy and can’t start on hills. Safety hazard. Rates add up fast 35 cents a minute plus a dollar to unlock. Fees no clearly advertised anywhere.
Once you take bike somewhere and lock, you could be stranded if someone else takes bike.
Limited locations where you can lock bike. Our hotel was not one, so $5 fee to lock there (even though there was a rack).
So wish this was a better experience - next time I will use Lyft or Uber.Show lesssue 714
Better app title on sign
I downloaded the Bolt app at first as the signage is confusing. Maybe a clear image of the Gotcha app on future outreach would be helpful to dumbies like me. Like the bike!martinturtle
Fun
Ride was good brakes a little bit too strong so you have to press on it very lightly so you don’t go flying off. Trying to get my refund for the first scooter because it wasn’t working and I got chargedughking
So Unpredictable
The bikes are so unpredictable. If the battery of the bike goes out then it’s extremely hard to pedal, then you have to get it back to a station which could be miles away. Our bikes just stopped out of no where and it was very hard to get them back to the station that was only less than a mile away. Again if the battery goes out it is super hard to move with it. As I said you will never know when it’s about to go out. Very unpredictable.Show lessWKs Schexnayder
App literally does not work anymore
The gotcha scooters are great, but it seems like the new parent company, bolt, has ruined the app. It either fails to load up at all, will not log in, or gets stuck on some random splash screen every time I have tried to use it for about a month now.93tyler
App confusing
Didn’t realize that after I locked the bike back up that I needed to also go to the app to stop the timer. I was charged for longer than I rode and it was very expensive. Also, it asks you to take a picture of the bike after you’ve locked it up. I didn’t even look at my app until I was driving home in my car and the timer was still on and I had to turn around to take a pic of the bike. None of this was clear.Show lessbehzjsjfb
Fast and simple
Great ride and easy to use. I like gotcha because their bikes are always there when I go to the library.Tmishaan
Random Shut-Off
I was riding and 5 minutes in, my boyfriend’s scooter just shuts off, then mine did. We can to repay more money to restart it so we can go back to where our cars were. Was not happy for the random stop and the extra money, even though it wasn’t a lot of money. On the way back, mine shuts off AGAIN.KLamungkun
