I had the Irving card and it was something my husband and I shared, it was cracking, not working at times. This makes it so much easier!! We both have the app and find it was easier to pay at the pump by using the app.MorgDave21

I keep getting an “invalid credentials” notice every time I try to login. I am able to get in on the desktop login screen but not through the app. There seems to be a problem with this app every time I try to use it after no use for a bit. Please explain why I register with Irving pay them tie my moving app to that account do I need the physical rewards card to pay?
Looking at the app when I hit the pay button it asks which pump I’m at.
Also while I’m standing in front of the pump your app still says I’m 5.2 miles away. Google maps shows me standing in your parking lot.
Can wait to hear the logic.

We have been experiencing issues with our app's location fencing, and the mobile app is not yet available for use at all our locations at this time. We are looking to revamp the app in about 6 to 8 weeks. I have gotten the error of too many requests to pay for gas in 24 hours multiple times, despite not actually ever having paid for anything through the app. The app seems buggy. It also keeps telling me that the pump is unavailable despite the screen on the pump being back to the main menu. Have also noticed since the app has been out that my Irving rewards card doesn’t work. I have missed out on multiple discounts and had to use my regular credit or debit cards rather than the rewards card.Show lessnbhnbhmphzahcjh

To actually use this download app, you MUST give not just your Bank Account and email address, but also (no joke) your birthdate, drivers license number, drivers license state issued info, social security number, and the app wants to track your location. You want to give this to the gas station?!? Nope! Nada! Never! Look out below!
(Update after response below): as you see, the response below deflects/ignores the issue described above. In fact, you DO need to give ALL the personal/private info described to actually use the App, which I would NEVER do. Yet, looking at other commenters, apparently the App hardly even works at many (most?) of the locations. Hello. You do not need to provide any of that information to download the app. Once you have downloaded the app, you would sign in to your rewards account with your email address and your rewards account password. You can use the app to track your rewards progress. If you would like to use Irving Debit Pay and Mobile Pay, you would first need to link your Irving Rewards account to your bank account. This is done through a third party secure payment provider consistent with may other debit payment programs out there. Irving Oil does not have access to any of your bank account details or personal information as stated above. The payment provider requires personal information to ensure you are the owner of the bank account you are trying to link your Rewards account to and has a system in place to do this in a completely secure way.
