I love how the tolls app always seems to be down right after they send me a message to replenish my account. I also love how ezpass always seems to raise my replenish amount when I start using it LESS. I used to use it 2xs daily to and from work on the triboro bridge, I’ve since only been using it once a day. It’s the holidays so some travel into Jersey is necessary… it’s not a daily or even weekly occurrence. How do you try to control MY money? A recommendation is not an obligation, and trying to force me to pay an amount by blocking my access to the app and not allowing me to put the amount I want on the website is absurd. The MTA has become too powerful, and needs to be stopped.

Inaccurate billing leads to constant violation fees
The amounts due on this app always differ from the bills I receive in the mail, leading to unfair violation fees. Worst app ever.

Impossible to change password in app. I typed in my old password, then entered new password twice with eye logo (view password) on to make sure it was the same. Kept getting a message that it couldn’t be the same as the old password. I don’t think the old and new one even had more than a letter or two in common. It was also impossible to edit my car info in EDIT mode. Completely dead, useless entry fields.
Finally got my address and car info updated by chasing the fine print all over the web page to find the links — on an iPhone 12 mini. Gaaaaahhhh.
I promptly deleted the app.

I tried many times to open an account to save some money. After several attempts over two days, I finally did get the app and an account, after filling in all the details and paying the $40 required I tapped Finnish hooray guess what it didn’t work and it told me not to tap again or I may be charged twice. So I try to log in today and it told me my credentials entered were wrong, did it again and still the same result. So today I decided I’m just gonna pay the tolls and not save money or the next thing to happen will be fines and more charges and even worse collection agencies affecting my credit score. Your app is crap and your tolls are unfair and nothing I can do will change anything. I’ve said my piece and good fortune to you and your friends bla bla bla

Paying online
It should just be easier to use the online website and it seems the app is difficult too from the reviews. I don’t understand why you just can’t just look up just from your license plate number everything at once that’s been charged to you each month so you don’t miss anything that you have to pay. Nobody wants to pay extra charges. If I have to avoid traveling in my car I will. Just make it easier to pay our bill each month so we can keep traveling without having to go through so much hassle. Nothing online is easy to pay the tolls and not even to update your account, don’t even see a number to call to get assistance. They have been sending my bill to two different old addresses despite my attempts to change my address to where I currently have my car registered.
