Got a bit too greedy
I’ve been playing this game for a little over a year. It got me through quarantine haha. I know all the games like this are about getting you to buy in app purchases to play the game faster but I was willing to do it because the gameplay was so fun. The most recent update though is really awful because it legitimately doesn’t allow you the time to complete many levels. This used to happen rarely but you could replay the level and not have the time run out again. The latest update though? They consistently put too many guests into a level for the time and have the guests stay in rooms longer. The end result is to move to the next level you either have to use the fast running cheat or pay with gems to extend the time. I’m fine spending a little money to help me get through levels which or but when it’s so obvious that you can’t complete the level without paying? That’s too far...especially when it didn’t used to be the case. Gonna find a new game addiction now lol. Hope they rethink this strategy because it used to be a pretty good game.Show lessLowishDC
New update making very very very hard to get gems
So disappointed with this game, have been a loyal player for so long now and the change from earning gems when playing levels of older hotels to doing activities to earn the odd gem has made it pretty much impossible to happily play this game- most of the activities to complete are to upgrade old hotels which obviously takes up a lot of gems at about 12+ gems for each upgrade and I return from this stupid log book you get 1-2 gems so there’s no point doing the upgrades as you lose out on gems. You have to play levels a stupid amount of times to complete the other activities and still only earning a max of 7 gems which isn’t a lot because it takes so long to earn them. This is just a way for them to say it’s still free to play but only just so people spend more money on gems which is a disgusting move from the creators. No reasoning for this change in the game other than money grabbing.Show lessAllypally 123456

The update ruined it for me. The achievement book was cool in theory but after getting the low ones it takes forever to get achievements. Which isn’t the deal breaker. The deal breaker is that they took away the option of winning gems from previous levels. I would have been okay if you only got gems with the biggest gift but, nope, no gems in that one either. Now it’s very difficult to advance.
They claim every level is winnable without gems but I have played many levels fully upgraded and gotten green from every single request and still been like $200 short on the goal. I tried over and over and over and over thinking I was missing something. Green every time. Short money every time. Maybe a glitch I dunno. Again, before the update I didn’t worry much about it and I used a double money power up. But now with rewards reduced I refuse to do it.
I’ll wait for the next update and if nothing changes then I will move on and find a new game. It’s a pity because it was my favorite game before the update.Show lessAmandaLu

I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks now and have already progressed to the third hotel. It was fairly straightforward to complete the first hotel, then it gets more challenging as the game progresses with harder requirements to complete each level. Sometimes you need to make a certain amount of money, match customers to the right rooms, or gain enough likes or smiles (when a customer is completely satisfied with their whole experience). And often without losing a customer or dropping an item. I often find it hardest to get enough smiles or money. The chance of passing each level can be improved by making improvements to the hotel, and to do this, you need money and diamonds. It’s easy to make money as that builds up as you do each level. Getting diamonds is a bit harder but you get rewards as you progress which often includes diamonds and other boosters, like increased speed, and fireworks to improve customer’s happiness. As long as I keep making progress I will continue to play this game.Show lessJo2K
Addictive and frustrating
Frustrating in a good way. A great game to play, but the ads crash the game whenever I try to speed things up. Works fine as long as I avoid the ads.Ccgirl48

I’m a time management game veteran and I was excited to start playing this as it’s generally a fun game to play.
I don’t mind spending a bit of real money here and there but this game is too frustrating as there aren’t enough free boosts alongside what we pay for. I seem to always be prompted to buy boosts and it’s getting silly now. They make it too hard. If you complete a level using your hard earned power ups and feel a sense of satisfaction, the next level you play will be equally as hard. No enjoyment.
It’s impossible to get all the smiles or thumbs up on some levels without buying a lot of power ups. I’ve spent real money getting power ups etc. but still am not able to pass some levels. It’s too hard. Bored now - I have completely lost interest. Time to delete the app and find something else, it’s not like there’s a shortage of good time management games out there that are not as greedy as these developers. It’s addictive however to upgrade rooms, appliances etc you need to use gems. And yes it does award you gems but they mostly push you into paying for them. When you lose a round a pop up comes up offering you to spend 20 gems to extend the round with only an Ok button as an option at the bottom and to not accept this you have to click the X in the top corner. I have always saved my gems but 3 times now I have been caught out by the 20 gem extension and hit ok by accident trying to get back to replay the level. I have lost 60 gems by this and now I cannot get any upgrades unless I buy more gems or pass the level for the prize. I can’t pass the level because I need upgrades and can’t have ungrades without gems. Catch 22 and definitely a ploy to get you to pay money for it to buy gems. I watch a lot of ads in it so don’t see why they need anymore of money by selling me gems. The 20 gem extension needs to be fixed or offer a “are you sure” option. Otherwise gems needs to be awarded more regularly.Show lessGetFdoordash

It got to a point where I couldn’t pass levels without purchasing gems. I think I should be able to collect more than 1 or 2 gems after playing 5-10 levels from previous locations. So I made the decision to delete the app as it simply wasn’t worth the time and energy for such little reward
EDIT: You’ve gotten so many reviews with people saying the same thing. At some point, I think it would be in your best interest to consider what the players are saying. The game is no longer tenable past certain levels without two things : 1) constantly going to the endless play in past levels to college gems or 2) purchase gems. For me, I started to see this during the second location. I barely got to the next hotel and couldn’t even upgrade all the appliances at each one. By the time I got to the third location the game became more frustrating than fun. I had to do endless play for HOURS just to collect enough gems to upgrade ONE appliance. If I could collect more than 1 or 2 gems in the past levels then maybe I could consider playing the game again.
EDIT 2: Please read my entire review. I am fully aware of what I need to do to get more gems. I am just not willing to play 45 levels from an old location every day just to get about 10-12 gems so until there is a change, I will play other games. Thanks.Show lessamionne

Thank you for your feedback! We're sorry you are having trouble. We wanted to make the game look like reality, therefore, in order to build a new hotel, you need to earn resources in the old one. Every five levels in your current hotel, you get gems, which should be enough to purchase one hotel improvement and move on. If the gems are not enough, you can earn the difference in the passed hotels or watch promotional videos. Usually the difference is small and you definitely won't have to go through 45 levels! We play the game ourselves and check all the levels for which complaints are received. Each hotel has its own balance of rewards received in gifts, but everywhere the number of gems roughly corresponds to the price for improving the hotel.Purchase
Hi there, I just bought the special offer for $3.49NZD x2 which contains 10gems, 15mins life and a money bag but never got the money bag?! I didn’t even noticed if I got the gems either. Didn’t noticed it the first time but I did on the second purchase. That’s the only reason why I spent real money for is to get the money bag booster.
