Fun but impossible
The game is fun but the further you get in the game the harder it is, obviously but it’s next to impossible to get power ups unless you pay. The events are ridiculous also. The should go for a period of time not until you can’t bet a level. It’s also impossible to get gems that you use to get improvements that help you along in the game. If you want to spend money then this is the game. I don’t mind a bit here and there but this is consistently needing you to spend to get further. To sum it up; you need to spend too much money, it should be easier to get gems, it should be easier to get power ups, overall it’s frustratingShow lessKimpark24

Thanks for your feedback! All necessary rewards in the game can be obtained for free. If you run out of gems or boosters, you can get them by completing endless levels in completed hotels. Our games are made in Free-to-play format. Payments are optional and never will - we make sure everyone is able to play.Just a cash grab by developers
Please read all of the reviews before you play. They are not lying. This game is almost impossible to advance in unless you spend money. I took this as a challenge and played anyway but everything everyone else says in their reviews is correct. The developers simply say to take your time and you will advance but it’s not true unless you spend money over and over and over for every single level on boosts.
I’ve played lots of games where I also spend money but the game also gives lots of free stuff in return.
The developers of this game really need to listen to their customers.

Please accumulate rewards and exchange them for hotel improvements by following the recommendations in the catalog, then you can easily advance in the game, practically without boosters and without the need for purchases!You reviewers must not be playing with a full deck
I normally don’t review games, but I just wanted to respond to the plethora of reviews seen here about it being too difficult. It is not too difficult. Rinse. Repeat. It is not too difficult. Some levels certainly provided more of a challenge, but were easily beatable with a booster or two (of which I have tons banked...they are given out very generously). The key is to save up coins by overplaying earlier levels so that you can level up your hotel before getting beyond the first couple of levels. There is some grinding involved, but mostly it’s just common sense and strategy.
I only came to check the reviews to see if others were demanding new hotels, because I have reached the end, and come back every day for my bonus and to check if a new hotel has been made available. Anyway. Your game is fun and provides a reasonable level of challenge. These players complaining that it is too hard just need to work on their strategy and coordination.Show lessstang0303
Impossible levels
I enjoy this game but it is so frustrating that there are impossible levels. You can get all perfect “green” scores and still not win a level. Also, all upgrades have been purchased and this still occurs. Please fix this.
Edit: I changed to 1 star after reading all of these terrible developer responses. Clearly something is wrong with your game and you are choosing to ignore it. Also there is no easy way to reach out to you besides writing a review. I’m talking about a level on the first hotel which I constantly have to go back to in order to get boosters. And you may get one booster after playing 10 levels. But sometimes even after playing a perfect game on the first hotel it will not let you win. And you have to continue to play it until they allow you to earn enough money in that level or use a double money booster. Even though all upgrades have been purchased.
I understand making a game difficult so that people enjoy it more and it doesn’t get boring but making it impossible without a booster every 3 or 4 levels is just ridiculous. Clearly something needs to be done such as increasing the amount of boosters you win every level so that you have the boosters you need for the upcoming impossible levels.Show lessSurrrah13
Ridiculous
I am a controlled but experienced gamer. Apps, PS, XBox, Steam...This is an app that gets you going, then once you are into it...you need either real money to proceed or tons of free jewels that take AGES to attain...by...watching......ads. Been on the same level forever. Boooorrrring. I don’t mind an in-app purchase once in awhile for a really good game, but not for this. I am giving this game a few more days tops, then deleting. I love the game! It’s very addictive. But you don’t get enough gems to help with the levels! I have spent so much money to get them and done many of the upgrades in some motels and yet I can’t pass levels in those motels without spending money to get a boost. I can’t keep playing and am going to give up because it’s too expensive to be able to achieve!! Unfortunately!Show less123456789nada

I would love to give 5 stars but was ripped off of 20 gems very early on by falling for the old press-the-big-green-‘OK’-button-to purchase, rather than the tiny cross in the corner. Would love that to be changed.
Other than that, I’m really appreciative of how you can actually enjoy playing this game without the need to ‘purchase’ lives & gems etc. It’s been designed mostly fairly and has got me completely hooked. I really enjoy the challenge I face approaching each level and deciding which booster I want to sacrifice in order to pass a difficult level.
All in all, one of the best app games I’ve played in a while and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to a game to pass the time :)Show lessViolinsmyfriend

A fun game, but just couldn't get past level 40 and the dashing around was stress-inducing. Tried on several successive sessions to pass this level, used all my power ups and still couldn't do it. Waited until lives refilled, then tried again and again, failed again and again. Guess I'm just too slow? There are certain genetic characteristics that correlate with being slower and I have them all, so... Dunno, but if you know yourself to be slow or have poor reaction times, suggest you don't bother. Try to give orders to Ted ahead of time, especially watch out for the sandwich as it will take time, and give Ted some soap to get ready to clean the room! You have 12 visitors for 11 smiles, so you don't need to rush with one of your visitors! I’m probably giving this game up. There is never an option to get any free gems. I can’t pass level 35 in Silver Pike as need to upgrade hotel. Can’t do it without gems! I have heaps of money. I’ve found another hotel game that is slightly easier and just as much fun. I’ve spent money on this game but refuse to just keep paying and paying to play.

Thanks for the answer! Upgrade gems can be obtained by completing endless levels in completed hotels and in daily gifts. We're sorry you didn't enjoy the game, but you don't have to pay for it! All required rewards can be obtained free of charge.Frustrating...
Like some of the reviews have said - this game is very much geared towards having to pay for power ups and diamonds to play without becoming exceedingly frustrated. I loved this game at the start, but once you get to “higher” levels (I’m only on the third, tropical hotel), unless you have the patience of a saint and wait for the daily reset for things like lives (30 minutes which isn’t unheard of in games), power ups, or the actual upgrades (I have to wait 11 hours for ONE upgrade right now...), grinding lower levels for things needed to upgrade to new levels, and gifts for passing certain levels, well it gets exceptionally frustrating. It’s going to take ages to get through levels without opening the pocketbook (which I have done and feel it was definitely not worth it). Very frustrating game that leaves much to be desired.
Update: per developer question: lvl 31 on Paradise Bay...where there are only enough people to get the exact amount of smiles and 4 people want the same rooms which are occupied...but I can’t put them in other rooms because they are occupied also...Show lessNWesteren
