  • Great for consistent practice

Awesome little app that helps me keep flexibility front of mind
  • Good app with room for improvement

This app looks beautiful, works elegantly, and actually makes me stretch on a regular basis. There are a few suggestions I have for feature additions or improvement.

A small feature request would be to to allow a user to re-order the stretches while creating their own routines. Currently, you can add any stretch into a custom routine, but i couldn’t figure out how to change the order while creating it, or afterwards.

More importantly, and this would be a larger change, I would like to see other people’s custom routines. Ideally, I could vote on shared routines and see most popular routines in a list.

  • Love this App!

I’ve been looking for a stretching App for a while now and came across Bend via Instagram. I absolutely love the simplicity and that there are different programs to suit your schedule and stretching goals. A real bonus for me are the isometric exercises - I absolutely love this and do them on days that I am not HIIT training. I’ve really noticed an increase in my overall strength doing these consistently and they’re really easy to fit into my busy day.

The only suggestion for improvement would be for the pictures (showing the stretch) to be little videos so it’s clearer how to get into some of the positions.

Thanks Bend - keep up the good work!

  • Great but needs improvement

I want to express how much I appreciate this app; it’s truly great, and I thoroughly enjoy using it. However, I believe there could be a valuable addition in the form of a survey or a similar feature. Such a tool could assess an individual’s flexibility and physical capabilities, determining which stretches are suitable or may not be advisable. Moreover, it could provide personalized recommendations on stretches to help users achieve their fitness goals more effectively. Despite this suggestion, I want to emphasize that I genuinely love using this app and find it incredibly useful in my daily routine. I use it frequently to stay on track with my goals and look forward to seeing further improvements in the future.

  • No Pain

This is an honest review. I am 62 years old. I downloaded the app months ago and never really did it, finally one morning I decided to try it, it wasn’t hard and it wasn’t easy, but I did shoulders, because my shoulders were hurting. Since it wasn’t as bad as I thought, I decided to try the hips exercises, it hurt, but a good hurt. This is the part that convinced me that I need these stretches, into my THIRD DAY of stretching, I noticed that if I’m sitting for awhile, upon getting up my hips would hurt and I would need to get warmed up first in order to start walking normally, BUT to my surprise, I stood up and started walking with NO PAIN at all, I didn’t notice it at first, but into my fourth step, I stopped and wondered, I sat back down for 10 minutes, got up and thought, I’m going to walk normally and see if there’s pain…there was no pain at all. Listen, I’ve been seeing a chiropractor for over two months now and the pain didn’t even subside, doing the stretches for three days, just hips and shoulders was all I did, and there’s no pain in getting up and walking. As for my shoulders it’s getting better slowly, still some pain, but it’s not stopping me from continuing.

  • Dark Patterns and Misleading Subscriptions

I unintentionally purchased the annual subscription, and I must say, the customer service was disappointing. They seemed indifferent to my issue, possibly because they were losing money. It took a whole day to receive a response, only to be provided with a Google Play refund link, despite contacting them through my Apple ID. Now, I have to wait another day for their next reply. This experience serves as a cautionary tale - be wary of dark patterns in apps that make it look free but ultimately want your money. None of these so-called free apps truly are, and they seem unconcerned if you accidentally subscribe. I urge everyone to be careful and consider other apps with transparent subscription models and better customer support.

  • 2nd day in

At last I have an app that suits me. I am looking forward to improving the exercises every day, as I get the techniques absolutely correct.. without re reading instructions. Starting on 5 minutes stretching, but will go from there as my body allows. I am quite unfit, so looking forward to building my body’s physical condition to a stronger, & more energised level. Thank you

  • Love Bend!

I really appreciate the options available. I also like that I can set the time a little longer for those areas that are a little more tight. I haven’t tried creating my own workout, but look forward to giving that a try soon. I’m 62 and this is the first workout program that I look forward to doing every day! I also appreciate the simplicity - no talk, just simply going from one move to another with the timer indicating when to switch. I love listening to the birds sing in the morning!

  • Useful but stretches need a guided voice recording

Looks like a great stretching app but when I looked at the sample programs there’s no guided voice telling you what to do so you have to keep looking at the pictures and hope you’re doing it right. Even the free Nike training app has guided stretches with a voice, making sure you’re doing them safely.

I don’t know how I can rate this app when I haven’t started yet. Although if I’m rating the options then 3 stars so far. Looking forward to this.
