  • Slow shipping & poorly designed app

    The app itself is poorly designed, takes a long time to load and is just not user friendly at all. Shipping takes forever. When I buy a designer item I really expect it to arrive within a week, two tops. It’s been over two weeks since I’ve placed an order and it hasn’t even shipped. Their system is totally backwards and doesn’t make sense. Some of the deals they find are great but the “live” shopping idea is a bit much in a world where online shopping is very easy and quick. Is it even worth the time spent scrolling & waiting a month or longer for your purchase to arrive?

    Tried this a app and found many great items really discounted but it seem as there are a lot of negative reviews online with shipping and item availability. I’m not sure if that’s due to customer service or the platform itself but I think I’m going to stick with curtsy. If you want to try it use CRYSTALS143 at checkout for a discount.
  • Never got item / cancellation with no reason

    Made a purchase that I was personally sent a link to and then they canceled the order. Meaning someone else had already purchased it or purchased it after me . For the most part it was available but very bad exchange. Why would I spend 700 plus dollars on a item if it’s not guaranteed. Sorry but the customer service on this app is horrific . Before you used to be able to get someone and now it’s like pulling teeth . This is also the second time this has happened also :)
  • Fraudulent Marketing, Terrible Customer Service

    I bought a bag from this app that was advertised by Irina as “excellent condition” with barely any signs of wear. I placed the order and received it after two months after many delays.

    I legitimately thought the bag I received was not the same bag I saw on video. The bag had significant wear, coffee stains, discoloration, and dirt. The leather connected to the strap was ripping. All of this was not shown on the video. Fraudulent marketing! If I had seen the true state of the bag, I would have never bought it! I am embarrassed to even wear the bag out - that is how bad the condition is.

    I then reached out to their customer service department with my complaints. They refused to do anything about it since I reached out to them 7 days after the delivery of the bag. And they said I should have expected such conditions because they advertised that it has “light wear”.

    They lost me as a customer. Beware of buying any used items from this app!! According to my experience, excellent condition means significant wear and tear. And if you do buy something, make sure to inspect it fully and reach out to customer service within 7 days.

    I see some similar experiences to mine and wanted to share an honest review from someone who is also a paid VIP subscriber.

    The app itself certainly needs fixes, it is not particularly convenient if you want to stay on top of ‘stories’. The main feed will forget your place and you have to go back through everything again.

    But like others my poor experience is largely customer service. When you order an item expect it to take at least a month to arrive, they will no expedite and even the paid ‘faster shipping’ is no better. Also I have on multiple occasions bought items for over a thousand dollars to only be told oops the item isn’t actually available. So be willing to roll the dice and be without your money only to have the order cancelled and refunded 6 weeks later.

    If you aren’t concerned with these factors than it will likely work for you. Just don’t get your heart set on the perfect deal you secured because even after your order is confirmed they will cancel it if the product ‘magically’ disappears from their supplier.
  • Several Items Cancelled

    I have ordered from ShopThing several times and more than half of the time, the order has been “lost in transit” or “incorrectly listed and the item is not available”. The other items I purchased that did arrive were overpriced - they were listed on the outlet websites for way less than ShopThing was selling them for. Customer service is terrible and they offer no accommodations. Spare yourself and do not order anything from this app
  • Great Concept; Terrible Customer Service

    Unlike some other folks on here, I have an actually had many issues with the app itself. I think there are improvements to be made, but nothing too wild.
    The real issue I have is with the customer service. Sometimes things take an insanely long time to come, and on several occasions, the item has arrived not as described including with significant damage. Customer service’s response is basically to say “too bad” and occasionally offer a partial refund of $10-$20 dollars, which is laughable when you see the prices of some of these items.
  • Cool concept, shipping and customer service is a nightmare

    I want to love this app. I really, really do. I think the concept is cool, they generally have a good selection of items, and overall it’s a really fun experience trying to snag unique items at a discount.

    However I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from the team and would warn others to proceed with caution. I’ve placed 10 orders in the past few months and have had issues with the majority. The items I’ve purchased haven’t been cheap either. When you’re spending that kind of money, you expect a decent level of customer service. Which just isn’t there.

    There are almost always issues with shipping. I’ve had only one order that actually went smoothly, arrived on time, and wasn’t a back and forth issue with support. I’ve had orders get cancelled without any explanation from their team. I’ve also had an order most recently “get lost in transit” that they can’t replace. The rest of my orders have taken over a month to even get a tracking number.

    One order never made it to me due to their error, was sent back to their fulfillment center, and I still haven’t received a full refund. This was months ago.

    Like I said cool concept, but proceed with caution.
  • Buyers Beware

    Customer service is absolutely horrible. I didn’t know how to use the app and I bought the wrong item and they refused to cancel my order. They told me it was final sale. How horrible is that? I would not recommend this at all. Just go and shop for yourself.
