Poor learn workflow
The content is good, but the learn workflow leaves a lot to be desired. It takes a lot of tapping and scrolling to go from one lesson to the next, when it could have been implemented with one tap. It’s so frustrating that I only do review on the phone.710 Skyline

CHESSABLE IS GREAT FOR BEGINNERS GRANDMASTERS AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN
A lot of lines in these courses seem to be thrown in by the the authors to fulfill the size requirements in the publication deal with Chessable
Lines they would never use in reality
I would love to see a coarse with the main lines and their evolution where needed

Many of my favorite books are available on the platform, but using the digital board makes going through the content much easier. But the spaced repetition based on what I miss from any content in any phase of the game or area for which I am studying is amazing. Then add an objective measure of my performance based on percentage of moves I got correct and how long it took me to do say… It’s an extremely helpful study tool.Show lessStratatactician

This app is wonderful. Love that I can open it up and get into a line or two while inbetween tasks.
Only wish to make this perfect imo would be a way to swap to an analysis board when looking at a position like we can on the desktop version.Mikenificentt
Great, But Missing Key Functionality
The app is slick and well designed overall. However, it’s missing some key features that force me to go use the web interface on iPhone or iPad if I need them (which is often). Please consider implementing
- Ability to open and click through lines without “learning” or “overstudying”…just like can be done on the web platform
- Ability to launch computer analysis from a given position, plus FEN code for copying
- Ability to click link to video from given line like the website
Essentially it would be great if all main core functionality on the website (as far as move trainer is concerned) was present in the app. But as it is, I’m often leaving the app when learning new lines so that I can open up the variations and click through and read, etc. The only time I really use the app is when reviewing, but even then, if I need to study it because I don’t remember something, again I leave the app to go to the web version so I can click thru the lines. This seems like a bare minimum requirement for the app that still isn’t in place yet. Hope it comes soon!Show lessMondreykr

Saved me a Lot of time. Can learn 100s of variations in an opening in a very short period of time. Took me a tenth of the time to learn opening this was compared to book. Can set up in pro version to limit just first 6 moves then 8 moves and so on so that you can properly dose your training. Amazing tool.Show lessPedramF1977
