  • Make the academy bus lines a viable means of transportation

    Please do no not cancel buses Please provide more busses that express , no one wants a two hour commute in either direction Utilize the express and hov lanes to help folks get to work on time, which is why they ride the bus in the first place Not having express busses past 6pm in lower Manhattan is problem , folks can’t work late or need to find another way Home. Riding a local bus is worse than a root canal.

    There is no reason for ticket validity to be so short after activation. Tickets should be valid for at least one hour to allow for late buses.
  • Thank you for lost & found!

    My husband unknowingly dropped his wallet on his nightly bus home from the city - using the lost and found feature in the app allowed us to recover it the next day. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the bus depot!
  • Needs lots of work

    Why aren’t there alerts of buses are cancelled that can be sent to your phone???

    You never know what’s going on until your standing outside at the crack of dawn and your bus doesn’t show up. We are then forced to call the number provided and then being transferred multiple times to different dispatchers until you get the correct one only to be told, “oh we cancelled that bus due to flooding, etc”.

    It’s not the same 1980s or 1990s…..technology has caught up why hasn’t Academy????
  • The driver says ‘be thankful we are here’

    I asked him to open the bottom of the bus for my little luggage and he said be thankful we are here and refused to move off his seat That is ridiculous It is the 6am from Gordon’s corner manalapan He was so rude In addition the 5:45 never showed It appears his name is Milton cause he seemed to kiss up to the regulars I didn’t deserve the attitude from him and the comment You should be refunding the money for my ticket Also he knew I had the bag for underneath hand almost drove away before I could go down the stairs and get my other bag. Overly rude Please refund and advise. He needs customer service training

    I WANT A REFUND FOR THE TRIP AND CREDIT FOR A FEW ADDITIONAL ONES

  • Alerts

    Overall a Great app. Wish that there was a section for the service alerts/ cancellations of a route(s).
    Its great that you send alerts but there should be a place where they are stored for the day so that we can view them

    There is a place where notices and alerts are shown. In the menu, "Metro area alerts" If it is a last-minute alert, we use the push notifications if time allows, so customers are alerted immediately.
  • Bus flew by me

    This was my first trip on this bus. I was at a business event. I waited for the bus and it was late. Finally, a bus flew by me. Didn’t even slow down by the bus stop. I talked to a bus driver coming into the same station. He said the bus that drive by was my bus to NYC. Unbelievable- don’t they even slow down by each stop?? I went to red hook to get the train. Not in just plan.

    I am sorry this happened, but we don't have any service near Red Hook, so I am not sure this was one of our buses.
  • Later buses

    We the commuters that work until 7 pm at night are still waiting for a bus in the 7:30/ 7:40 hr. Since the people who do not commute in NYC do not understand how long it takes to go cross town. The NJ transit trains are packed. When can we expect a later bus than 6pm. Again I am not sure how you are monitoring ridership for a service you are not providing. Please consider in 2024 a 7:30/7:40 bus.

    We continue to monitor ridership, as of now there has not been a strong demand for later buses. With the continued CDL driver shortage we run service where there is the most commuter demand. We will continue to monitor ridership and add where necessary.
