App does not work
Got to the point where the app asked me to enter a code to pair our 48” Tidal II. Unfortunately the only keyboard that comes up is numeric and I need to enter mostly letters with one number. Can’t find how to get the numeric keyboard to show up so can’t pair the hood. 2 hours out of my day. #done

Worked once until it mysteriously didn’t. Can’t reconnect the hood.
But.. why? There are two controls on the hood for light and fan. Why would one need an app for this? Promptly deleted this gimmick.

I wasn’t able to connect with Bluetooth. It doesn’t seem to work.
Can get it to connect
When I got the hood, I connected it easily and it worked. Then, it stopped. Can’t connect to Bluetooth to reset it. Bluetooth flashing but constantly get the ‘can’t connect, retry’ message. So frustrating! App shows the fan is off when it’s blowing, same with light. No control whatsoever. Hate this app

Worst app ever…
I don’t know why they even bothered. The app doesn’t function at the most basic level. It cannot remember usernames or passwords and if you try to create a new account and start all over, it tells you that the has already been registered.
Connectivity Issue - Potential Fix
As mentioned in several posts, the unit would not connect to the app even with the bluetooth icon activated in the unit. I contacted my vendor who contact Zephyr. The issue is that many units were shipped without the WiFi card. The Zephyr support mentioned that units with serial starting with "9" are included in that group. Contact support, they will ship the card and then provide the service to fix it.

Third rate app and third rate support
Zephyr skill needs to be re-enabled every month and it errors out while doing that.
One, why does zephyr skill needs to be enabled every month? None of my other devices require that.
Two, re-enabling skill errors out.
Three, customer service has no answer other blame it on Amazon and no way to escalate.

Useless app
I had my Zephyr hood installed and connected to the app. Had to change some Wi-Fi configurations in the house which somehow made me lose connectivity to the fan. Restarted phone, pushed the buttons to enable Bluetooth mode (incorrect in manual, by the way) and nothing. Tried both iOS and Android versions. Same deal. Can’t connect to Bluetooth. You’d think this would be easy. This team makes it hard instead.

App works well
Not sure what all the negative comments are about. I was able to connect the app to the hood and everything operates as expected. I even have the hood connected to my Amazon Alexa account.
Awful
Took way too long to connect my hood over Bluetooth with the app. The very next day, the hood mysteriously disconnects and the app blames my router. The hood refuses to reconnect via the app. Not worth the effort.
