Thrilled with the service, great app
I can’t believe what a fabulous service this is! As others have noted, the rising cost of solo rideshare apps have made them more cost prohibitive on a regular basis. Additionally, I’ve found them to be less reliable with drivers canceling and harder to book in the first place over the past year or two.
This service is nearly as convenient, and these days seems to be more reliable. Also, I found that the time it takes me to travel is very close to what it would’ve been to take an Uber. All of this at a tiny fraction of the price - I hope people take advantage of this service and that it continues to grow!!
Very excited that they are running later in my area now- running until 10 or later it will make it more of a possibility to use when going out for dinner/drinks. Would love it if it would eventually go as late as midnight or early morning hours to provide another alternative for people to safely get home at night.Show lesslizzielosangeles

I’m obsessed with Metro Micro. I’m about to get on my third of the day. It’s cheap, it virtually goes door-to-door and generally you are alone in the van. I love this! And I actually don’t know why I’m writing this review because I don’t want too many more people to find out about it.jescny
best thing LA has done with my taxes
thanks to these shuttles i can live in LA without a car. thanks for putting my obscene taxes to good use. shuttles nearly always on time and the app is very easy to use. also, $1 per ride is an absolute bargain - i really would not mind paying more for the convenience these bring.pomeranianlvrr195
Probably the BEST Public Mobility Service in Los Angeles County
I really hope they keep expanding and building up new zones, cause Micro is honestly one of the only services that gives me the freedom to move around without having to own a car! Extremely clean, safe, affordable and accessible. What more can one ask for?

I *LOVE* this app
I *NEVER* thought I’d love this app as much as I do but it is AMAZING. As someone who was chronically using rideshare apps to get around, I felt the uptick in prices in my pocket and needed to find a better way to get around. Using metro micro has completely changed the game for me! YOU CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE. $1 to get around within your zone is the best deal I’ve ever heard of and it’s wonderful knowing the drivers getting me around are actually getting paid properly by their employers and receiving benefits. I’m lucky enough to have my home, job, and more than one friend living within my local zone so I can get around everywhere I need with ease! I appreciate that Micro isn’t trying to mimic other ride share apps, it’s not trying to be lyft or uber with it’s design and conceptualization. The scheduled rides are nice because I can set when I’m heading out and know my ride will get there within my set time slot as opposed to ordering a ride the moment I need it and praying it doesn’t take 30 mins to get to me like on other apps. Additionally, since it doesn’t rely on gig workers I know my ride won’t be canceled leaving me stranded which makes the system feel super dependable. I can’t say enough good things! It took me a second to figure it out but when you look at it as it’s own system instead of just another rideshare app, it’s amazing! Excellent service
I really appreciate the way the service is set up with telling you what time frame they will arrive as well as has a live update on the route and time it will take to get to the destination. Incredible value, great ride!
There’s so much I want to say about this service, from how comfortable the vans are to the enthusiasm the drivers have for how well they are treated as employees and how kind they are to me when I ride…
I hope this pilot program expands and continues. It’s worth more than what they charge, and I appreciate that LA recognizes that in addition to the busses and trains (which I also take), providing an affordable point-to-point option is essential in this amazing city.
One gripe: I was at first able to use my Apple Watch to pay for rides via TAP, but for some reason the last couple weeks it won’t work. I know the watch works because I use it on the TAP terminals on the train. Also, I’d be willing to put a credit card on my account but on repeated tries the app won’t let me. New Found Live for Metro
Was turned on to the Metro Micro system enjoyed my first ride. The driver was really friendly and a very safe driver . spread the word and petition that the system goes to all cities in the LA basin. Right now they’re just limited to certain cities which is a shame . All you need is a tap card and you are set.Show lesscuzn_ed
No service in east Hollywood and k-town
I really wish I could use this service! Unfortunately it’s only available in certain highlighted neighborhoods. I guess for now I’ll just have to keep refreshing the page until it gets updated. 5 stars cause I want this availability pronto!jaxsto
Surprisingly good, efficient service
I didn’t know what to make of Micro Metro when I heard about it through an advertisement. But now having used the service more than a dozen times, I recognize the high value being offered here. At the price point of $1, you can get anywhere within your specific zone within an hour. This is an unbeatable price. The same ride with a ride share service can cost a minimum of $10, and those ride share drivers do not have the benefits that these metro employees have.
