They put a verification that doesn’t even work lol so you can’t even register inside the app, total garbage. Don’t buy the door lock waste of money
Not keeping codes
Is there a problem with the app? I’ve successfully created passcodes before but I’ve been trying to create a passcode for the past few days and I also tried activating a card and it goes through the process but when I try to use them it keeps saying unauthorized. Very annoying.
Lack real time lock status $ incomplete record
It is frustrating not able to see at a glance what the lock status stands. You have to press the status button and wait for an query to get the lock status. The records are incomplete - missing all the automatic lock events after 10 seconds even though it has been activated.
Doesn’t work and no support
The app worked when I first got the lock. Now there is no logging in, no password support, and no way to contact them.
Works good but why no status indicator
The whole point of a lock app for a wifi lock is to show the current status of the door. Why the developer chose to leave this out is so odd.
Next Door App
The App works well and was easy to install. My 2 issues with the app is when two people use the app one gets signed out. The other major dislike that I have is you have no idea if the door actually locked. I purposely closed the door half way and tried to lock it via the app. The door crept attempting. After three tries the door itself made a noise but the app had no indication that the door was still unlocked. This would be a major upgrade for the app if provided. Thank you!

Software update
App needs to have a software update so it shows visibly that lock is in unlock or lock position.. Also should have software that allows it to connect to other modem/routers that exist in your household
App Workmanship
Love the app it works good, I have had no issues with it at all as of yet, there is one thing they got fix/get working if possible, is to have the lock icon show when the lock is actually locked or unlocked, or at least tell you if the door is locked or not.

Works great for VRBOs
I manage a vacation rental and this app for my keypad coded deadbolt lock is well suited for it. I like that I can make a code that’s easily remembered for regular users (altho, in order to change the randomly generated six digit one, I need to enter it into the keypad first).
I also like that I can make access codes that expire at a set date and time. One of the things I’ve discovered is I can edit a temporary code- change the name, number and expiration for my next tenant without needing to be next to the lock.
I get alerts and a record is kept of every code entered and it tells me if someone has tried a wrong one.
My one issue (otherwise I’d’ve given it 5 stars) is the activity record- deleting every entry is a three step process. Swipe to expose the delete command, select delete and then select confirm. I’d hope that in a future update, the three dots that open the export/clear record menu might include ‘select’ so multiple records could be deleted at the same time.

No Apple Watch App
Next Lock works great to interface with the Heantle Smart door lock with one major caveat, there is no Next Lock app for the Apple Watch.
If you want to use your Apple Watch to unlock the Heantle smart door lock you should install ttLock which has all the capabilities of Next Lock with the added bonus of having an Apple Watch app.
Unfortunately, if you have already installed Next Lock and want to change to ttLock, you will have to reset the Heantle Smart door lock and pair it with ttLock. When you reset the lock you lose all your settings and will have to re-enter passcodes, fingerprints etc.
If you don’t care about the Apple Watch then Next Lock works great which is why I gave it 4 stars with a 1 star deduction for no Apple Watch app.
