Great Lock
I am verbally dictating this. I am an architect so I am highly critical of locks, most blocks of the places we buy a very limited options for the amount you pay unless you jump up to extremely expensive locks. EveryDoor entry system lock has sat box however what few little things I could find here as a 55-year-old, large thumbs, person who was built more homes andCommercial projects, this lock works great for residential service, I think also if you have multi locks it would be a great lock. I hope that the developer in the near future will add more videos for programming the lock to show each feature and its step how you should program it to make it quicker for the installer to run through the complete set up. It is my recommendation to the developer that you make one video for the installer and owner of the home or primary administrator. A separate video should be made for the users for each type of user so that when you send something to a user who is clueless about a lock like this it is thorough and its explanation and understanding so they do not have to call you back when they look at the lock. it is also my recommendation to the developer that you make available online with your registered pass code attached to your instruction sheet to be able to access the members area of more detailed instructions for security prevention. That registration should be accessed with a phone verification code.On a standard door, there was no problems installing the lock and I appreciated all the additional hardware which most locks do not include four different types of door tapped. Do not worry if you have a thicker than normal door it appears to accommodate well. A secondary recommendation for seniors and older people would be to have a set of stickers which you could apply to the inside of the door lock with your vinyl cover that can be cleaned with cleaning agents likely plasticized so they do not wear down overtime but you could apply it to the knob so that you can see whether the position is vertical or horizontal. With aging eyes and glaucoma one has a hard time when I see the complete black surface but with ease of touching you can automatically know whether the lock is open or closed. it would also be my recommendation to the developer to add different sounds for the unlock choice 20 or 30 and even allow you to add a custom sound so that if you want to hide from anyone that your lock is opening you can choose your selected sound. This would elevate the lock to a much higher quality when you can allow customization like this. I appreciate the time and work that went into creating these instructions, they are some of the best most clear beautiful printed well laid out graphic design instructions for a lock set that make it easy for a senior to read. Additional information added to the instructions would be very helpful. I would also recommend The complete workflow for each task such as how to program your lock from start to finish how to add a fingerprint from start to finish, while easily it removes anxiety from seniors and people that are less technologically inclined, which I am not. The quality and construction of the lock is beautiful. It is well constructed I cannot speak for the electronics within the lock however taking a close look at the quality of metal the quality of wrap on the wire the quality of rubber are used to seal it is not low quality. on a standard residential door unless you were going to place additional security measures into the door jam your door is only as strong as the striker and the bolt that goes into the gym remember that please. Any luck can be easily defeated by taking a hammer and banging on this thing with substantial force but then again so can all its competitors. therefore I can wholeheartedly recommend this lock that does not mean you might have minor problems but please remember that when you beat up the law of manufacture and the developer he learns nothing please leave messages which are in depth tell him what you like it appears he responds. I appreciate that. I also recommend that the developer do more frequent app updates within the App Store, And if possible China in it makes a difference to hear from the developer, always makes you feel like somebody cares out there. You can tell by the quality of the instructions the quality of the packaging the quality of the finish the developer cares substantially about his product and I will continue to add more locks. It's nice to have some thing from Amazon which doesn't feel like you've over paid and under received very nice package very nice quality thank you. One last comment would be to add to the interface the user the ability to change the selection of color of fonts and interface maybe make 10 or 20 different color arrangements so they can select that. it is very nice to see all the options so clearly laid out in a hierarchical menu fashion which is easily understandable without instructions. My recommendation before you construct this lock into your door and begin the program it is examine the pieces in relationship to the door you're installing there's a lot of extra pieces you do not need and it might create stress. Lay out your pieces and do what's called a dry fit before you start playing with your phone and nap it's all about understanding what you're putting together first programming separate. thank you for a very worthwhile purchase your lock is appreciated. I hope all of you out there reading this review have the same success and if not sent him an email remember it takes time post Covid people aren't happy people are sad doesn't excuse the manufacturing quality of a lock nor the problem but it does require our responsibility to treat others with kindness. Respectfully a new user.

So convenient!
Easy to use and really convenient for me to manage my locks!
Won’t send a activation code to cell number.
And also allows you to enter a password that’s not acceptable.
Clunky and unimpressive.
