    Useless, could not access anything. Showed concierge to see what I was missing, and the answer was a shrug. No better use for him either. Good to check in and out, and add details for guests. Could not even access room service.

  • No access for a wheelchair!

    When we arrived to check in, the front desk person told us that since we had a wheelchair we were going to be moved to the next door sister hotel. The Victoria Plaza hotel has no access from the street for a wheelchair. Except, if you go on the side alley, then they have a small lift on the staircase which at first did not work. It took a while for the hotel staff to get it to work, just to find out that the wheelchair didn’t even fit in it.
    We then went to the hotel next door, which looked like a nightclub and was as expensive.
    This was not what I wanted to book for a hotel and ended up cancelling and reserving at the Hilton. This was a terrible experience, especially when you need access for a wheelchair.

  • Flashy tech doesn’t guarantee great service

    I stayed at the Westminster Plaza for 1 night biz trip. I waited 30 mins to be seen at reception. When I got there I was asked to pay when the room was being paid for by the client. Instead of being helpful I was told that because I didn’t have the credit card the room was booked with it made the reception mistrust me!!! Seriously!
    When my room was ready a text notified me and I used a digital key to gain entry. That was great.
    The room was so smelly I had to keep the air con on high to very cold so I didn’t have to breathe in the musty smell.
    On check out, I was asked again to pay!
    You can have great tech to empower your customer journey, but this doesn’t negate the need for adaptive training and healthy smelling rooms!

  • Wonderful hotel with an efficient system

    The hotel was fully staffed and run like clockwork.
    The app for accessing the room and enabling easy check in was simple to use and worked again like clockwork. Nobody forgets their phone. So nobody forgets there key or check-in. Check out is just as simple, an excellent way of speeding up a process.

  • Terrible customer service

    Terrible customer service. Terrible policy in place. We came all the way from USA . We will never stay here again !

  • Cleaning standard is the worst i have ever seen

    The 1st day we checked in, the bathtub have hairs on them, the toilet side under where the water flushed out have brown stains on them. And maybe the carpet is old and full of stains that make us think twice having to walk around the room without sandals.

    The second day, we asked to have our bedsheet changed because we spill some juices on the sheets, and my mom actually miss place the tv remote, and when we came back, the stained bed sheet is not changed, and we found the remote under the blanket. Our couple of water bottles fell on the floor from side table and was not picked up. We found that the folded towel is wet, which is 1st time in my life i ever found that in any hotel room. And we brought some croissants that we put on the table and all of that are gone. My mom had a bottled water filled wt salt to wash her nose and was gone too.

    All this experience in having clean things in hotels we stayed before os never ever at this low of standard, we still have a few more days here and we are dragging the facts that we have to live through all this for tgebrest of our stay😭😭😭

  • Complaint about the night manager Mark Harmon

    My son and stayed at Park Plaza County Hall for last 5 nights. The day reception folks were great.. helpful and courteous. They suggested to call the reception when we need the room to be cleaned as they don’t clean the room every day. We followed the instruction. The last day, the cleaning crew showed up and we specifically told them not to clean. Our stuff were all over the room and we were in middle of packing. When we came back around 8:30 pm, we found our room cleaned and all my receipts that I was saving for the tax return claim ( about £1100) were gone. I called the reception immediately and the night manager Mark Harmon, he said there is nothing he can do to help me as I didn’t call the reception and requested ‘Not to Clean’ the room. He was rude and not helpful at all.

We will automatically service rooms as per our welcome letter given at check-in every 3 days. If you do not want an automatic service, reception needs to be informed. Nonetheless, we apologise if there was any miscommunication with our team member and for the misplacement of your receipts. Our night manager checked the 11th-floor housekeeping rubbish bags, however, he could not find the receipts.   • Simply doesn’t work

    Website under construction. Can’t activate the key until you’re within 2 miles of the hotel, which is fair enough, but not being able to activate it in the hotel bar on the hotel wifi seems a bit rich.

    The frankly bizarre message on the App said.

    “ Since it's less than 2 hours until your arrival time, we cannot process your key online. Please head to the reception upon arrival to pick up your key.”

    As I arrived exactly at the earliest check in time possible, it’s to see how this works.

    Does this mean had I arrived within two miles of the hotel at 12:59 I could have activated the key…… but alas it wouldn’t have worked as I was two hours early for check in!!!

    I went over to the website for Plaza services to find out what I was doing wrong…… it’s under construction.

You can receive your digital key on the day of arrival after 3 pm (or earlier if you’ve had an early check-in confirmed by the hotel).
