Useless App

Doesn’t matter where I want to go, doesn’t matter when I want to go - the only option Umo gives me is to walk there. It says there are no stops in my area. It says there are no routes in my area. Both of which I know to be untrue. Just a completely useless app.

I can’t use my Umo app

Since the update I can’t use the app and I have paid for a monthly pass already.

Good app and suggestion

I use this app to pay for Moby trips. It would be neat or good idea to include a log in for Moby clients so they can view or cancel rides as needed. It would need to be linked to the home office. Just a thought

Update ruined it

Just logged back in after not using it over the summer. Update made the app way too confusing and honestly unusable. I’d rather just wait at the bus stop eternally.

purchase fare and look at map

for some reason, even when i have money in all of my other payment accounts, i can only currently purchase fare thru my credit card? it's incredibly annoying. we also cannot purchase multiple trips on one account, which is annoying when traveling with friends or family. the bus drivers shouldn't have to deal with unnecessary payment complications on top of everything else they do for us, that just isn't fair at all because they are exemplary employees providing a high demand, vital service to our city. please invest in updating this app to have less bugs and more a more user friendly interface. it's also annoying to not have a log of purchases + the ending balance after a ride, because i personally have experienced depositing funds that suddenly disappear/are no longer accounted for in my account. having an end balance attached/logged will prevent further complications and make it easy to report when funds are not in the account when they Should be.

Excited at the debut, constantly disappointed by daily performance

I use the app in Milwaukee (WisGo). When the latest edition came out, the functionality of the map search, favorites, and quick icons at the bottom promise upgrade. Subsequently, real time tracking showing the location of the bus on its route has ceased functioning, the arrival time is regularly 2 minutes late for most routes (leading to regularly missing a bus I believed I had 2 minutes yet to catch - that’s the difference between running a block and not), and favorites erase every time I open the app. Selecting stops through the map is difficult as four stops at the corner of A St. and X Ave. will all be described as “A St. & C Ave.”, a super easy to navigate situation if you intimately know that stop, and especially if you are unfamiliar! Great job, UMO, keep up the quality.

Flawed -multi users

I signed up, bought my son youth passes & myself some individual tickets. Can’t use them separately 🙄🤣 there’s only the ONE QR Code. So what am I swiping? Youth or Adult? Also my son can’t be logged into my account at the same time. So we can’t leave the house together & ride the bus as only one QR code is provided…. Hope I can transfer his tickets to a physical card! Woof!

Broken

The app is just broken. Completely freezes when you try to look for rides in the app. I guess it does the bare minimum but other than that do not even bother.

Impossible to Use!

I used to love this app, but the new update has made it completely unusable! There’s no longer an ability to plan ahead and that makes taking the bus incredibly difficult. I dread using your app. I’d love to be able to see more than one bus in advance like I used to be able to do. And when you tell me the “healthiest option” is a 2 hour walk, that just feels ridiculous. Please fix your app.

New update ruined it

I used Umo a lot to commute to work, after going home for summer break and returning to Portland, I found out the app had updated. It is so much worse now, I just use google. It doesn’t tell me multiple routes to the same place like it used to, it doesn’t tell you the numbers on the bus stops anymore (so if there’s two across the street from each other good luck I guess). If you used to use this app, please just go to google, type in your desired address, select the bus option, and it’s so much more convenient, giving you the fastest route to your stop. Please fix this, the old app was genuinely so helpful.
