Kicks me out when I try to deposit

Have had this app for years but , since recently whenever I try and deposit a check and get to the part where you take the first picture , it kicks me out and tells me to log in, then after I log in again, when I tap on deposit, it doesn’t open up. So I clear the app try again then it does what it did the first time, when I try and take the picture. You guys need to fix this please.

Not working as well as the previous app

I never used to problems with the old app. This newer app won’t open up sometimes, takes long to open up or goes through the process of opening up but stays at the login screen. This happens throughout the day or night. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not help.

Very disappointed

I’ve banked with SSFCU for many years and generally am pleased with their service. However, their mobile app for iPhone and iPad and the online app for desktop are a big letdown. The mobile app’s deposit feature crashes every time and the online doesn’t even have a deposit feature. During this time of quarantine and icy conditions these are almost essential. Get with it SSFCU and provide your customers a reliable app.

Mobile deposit needs work

The app works well from a standpoint of account review, but the mobile deposit feature suffers from incomplete terms of service and hit-or-miss processing.
Nowhere in the terms of service is a maximum deposit amount per item enumerated, but service representatives have explained that certain deposits failed due to the amount. And then deposit at the bank was hampered because endorsement specified “mobile deposit” as required by the terms.
Other items have simply failed without explanation and then processed successfully later.

Developer doesn't seem to be very responsive

I read all of the negative reviews of this app before downloading, and decoded to give it a chance, anyway. I thought that, since many of the reviews pointing out issues were posted a while ago, the app had likely been updated to fix them.

First thing after downloading, I tried to log in, with the 1Password app filling in my credentials... the app will not acknowledge that the password has been filled in, instead stating that I must enter a password. This issue was already pointed out in one of the reviews I had previously read. It would appear that these issues are not being worked out.

This app is okay. I can do everything that I need to do for the most part through the app. The one thing that still hasn’t been fixed since this app and the last one is that whenever you switch apps your account information isn’t hidden. The capital one and usaa apps both have a blank screen that conceals your account amounts and numbers in the app switching screen. Please fix this as it could be a fraud issue. Thank you for your time.

The WORST banking app ever!!!

The app used to be relatively easy to negotiate, now it’s impossible to sign-in much less use any of the features. If I sign out for over a few hours it doesn’t recognize my information when I try to sign back in. I spoke with a representative over the phone and was told to delete the mobile app and then download the “new” version. No joy. Still the same problems. If I weren’t in the middle of a mortgage re-fi I’d drop this credit union like a hot rock.

Constant Issues

I’ve prolonged writing a review in hopes things would improve but they have not. I am sitting here unable to log in since it cycles through several messages - loading information, verifying information, one moment, one more moment… thanks for your patience, … then it stops and doesn’t log me in. This is by no means the first error I’ve encountered just trying to sign in. I am repeatedly frustrated several times a week with the most recurring message, “we cannot complete this request at this time.”

Other issues I have is lack of capability to do a good amount of what you can do online or in comparison to other credit union apps, but that’s another whole string of downsides.

Cannot Log In/Crash

This app is absolutely terrible. Cannot sign in as it states another device is signed into my account; no device is signed into the account, yet I can sign into the website which is also very bad. Then there’s Face ID.. what’s the point of having Face ID if it only works the time you select to use that feature and never again after that? The app is slow, lacks in advancements like UI, features such as transferring money between family members, and non-functional notifications. Terrible.

Very poor online experience

Note: Frankly, a one star is being generous.

The user experience with your app is frustrating. It requires the password regularly even when I’d like to use Face Recognition. The user should have the choice for how to open,

Secondly, the app often doesn’t allow me access. It’s very random in when it works and when it does not. So n a pinch, I have find my laptop.

I cannot choose to see my password (to make sure I entered it correctly).

Frankly, the tech is so poor, I am ready to close my accounts with you for a better online banking experience.

Online is critical because the nearest branch to me is VERY difficult to access due to parking.

Again, I hope you will address your lack of a good online banking access and this horrible app.

Otherwise, I will be finding a new financial institution.
