UPMC CARLISLE HOSPITAL
The Local UPMC Physicians (Primary & Cardiology Doctors) in the Carlisle area are Great, Top Notch.
The Carlisle UPMC Hospital on the other Hand, after my August 23,2024 ER visit was the WORST MEDICAL Experience EVER. The ER Triage Nurse after placing an Intravenous Line in my arm and taking 3-4 Vials of Bloodwork thens discards the associated trash from the procedure. When getting the Vials for the Assistant to take to lab she can only find 1 vial. Thats be because she THREW AWAY 2 of the blood vials in the trash can. She recovers them from the trash can (right in front of me) and says OPPS !. Then I sit in the waiting room in a wheelchair for 5 1/2 hours (with a history of Cervical & Lumbar Spinal Stenosis) . This was to much, had to check myself out and go back home….What an Awful Experience for such a Large Hospital Group.

Very easy to use and navigate! Only wish ALL UPMC providers could be linked onto the same app. I see some providers located in a different area of Pennsylvania who use a completely different app and cannot see each other’s results:/ But great app!!!Multi specialty Dr patient

I’m happy using the UPMC portal for myself and my husband, Donald . It’s east to use, efficient, and convenient. I use it to ask questions, request referrals, review summaries, and make appointments. My family practice at Fisher Road is top notch and reacts to my inquiries on the portal almost immediately. I honestly can say this app is such a great and easy way to login and view any important personal information you need to know from your provider if you have any medical questions there’s always a medical staff available, medication refills, referral, and appt scheduling as well. I’m recently spent 11 days in Harrisburg Hospital after heart bypass surgery. Surgery went well, but I had some blood pressure issues that kept me longer than usual days after surgery.
I cannot express my gratitude enough to all of the staff on 6 Main. From doctors, nurses, aides, dietary, cleaning people, everyone who not only took good care of me, but were always cheerful and friendly. I felt a friendship with many.
Thank you all for making my stay there more tolerable.

The staff at UPMC Central Pa is top-notch! From the doctors who cracked jokes while they stitched me up (okay, maybe not while they stitched me up, but you get the idea) to the nurses who kept me laughing throughout my stay (even when they were drawing blood), everyone made a not-so-fun experience much more bearable.
The only thing funnier than the bill I got after one night in the ER was the number of times they sent it to me. It felt like they were testing out a new high-speed billing printer. Let's just say I got very familiar with my shredder.
In all seriousness, the staff was amazing, and I would absolutely recommend UPMC Central Pa to anyone who needs top-notch medical care (and a good sense of humor to deal with the billing department). Just be prepared to wrestle with a never-ending stack of bills. Maybe they'll throw in a free shredder with your next procedure?Show lessArbabii

This app is very user friendly. Easy to navigate. Providers are very responsive.
