Useless for Advances. Repayment is Absolutely awful!!
I’m familiar with advance apps and thought I’d use this one to help bridge between paydays. I received an initial advance of $100 which was great…until I realized that any money that goes into the account will automatically be used to repay the advance, even if you took out the advance that same day! I thought they’d debit me to repay the advance on my payday-which makes sense, but that is not the case. It made me so mad when I received a deposit the next day after getting a B9 advance (the advance was going to go to a bill, and then I was going to deposit some money for misc expenses until I got paid)-and the full deposit went to paying back the advance, leaving me with nothing until payday.
This shocked me so much because no other offering advances app does this. I immediately changed my direct deposit back to my old bank and closed this account. Absolutely useless.

B9 always provide an Advance of up to our members when they keep their direct deposit connected, and their recurring deposit is credited into their B9 Account. Your advance limit will grow faster when you increase your direct deposit in your B9 Account. B9's algorithm recalculates your advance limit every 14 days. We offer free transfers to any U.S. bank account, including Cash App using its banking details. We only charge a fee of 2% or min $1.5 for instant (almost real-time) withdrawals to other apps like Cash App. Most similar apps charge Instant/Turbo cash-out fees from 1.5%-3.0% or higher. However, B9 never charges any Instant Fees for crediting your Advance into your B9 Account; all our advances are credited instantly at no additional or mandatory fee. When you use your B9 Visa® Card to pay for your purchases, we reward you with a cashback of up to 5%! It's enough to pay off your monthly subscription fee and make your B9 app and Advance fee- and interest-free! Terrible app
WORST APP - DO NOT DOWNLOAD

The app replied YES and NO. She made nj sense. Here I am still struggling in unsubscribing. They will charge you BEWARE
Zero Star Bank
I’m not complaining how their rules are set up. But they should TELL you do you don’t get charged their HIDDEN fee’s. They steal money from you when you deposit. I deposited 550, but I could only see 549 of my pay check. They probably took a fee because I got paid. They also charge a percentage of you transfer money to Apple Cash.
This bank is a scam. Obviously they don’t want to be up front with you, and there are other banks who are up front with you. This isn’t one of them. I wish I could get all my money back that they stole from me.

There are better options out there
No other advance app works this way and they are not at all transparent on how repayment works. Go with money lion and leave these knuckleheads alone.
