  • Cannot Create an Account iOS 17

    I will echo all the comments about great device, terrible app. I cannot even create an account. I tried it on my iPhone with iOS 17.1.2 and even my iPadOS 16.7.2. I tried multiple email accounts and I repeatedly get a msg stating “It was not possible to create the request to verify the email.”

    Clearly this app is not a priority for Cefaly for they appear to have not assigned sufficient resources to produce and maintain what should be a simple app—simple is my guess anyway, because I haven’t actually seen it. The app reviews demonstrate a solid history of bugs and scheduling a coach meeting like it’s MY inability is frustrating and should not be necessary.

    It’s also not great practice to ask customers to pay more money for a non-functioning “feature”. I mean at this point, there ought to be a warning right on the product page “App is not likely to work and may lead to migraine due to frustration.”

    Please give us a working app.

  • Device is good - App is terrible

    The app never works consistently. The logging doesn’t record, even when I saved my migraine information and it confirms I logged everything I go to check the log and nothing appears.

    The app also randomly records “migraines” on its own at random. To be clear - I never started these. I turn on the app and it says I’ve been recording a migraine for two hours when I haven’t touched the app or device for 24 hours.

    The device has to have a pin to log in for every single use. Any and all other Bluetooth devices I’ve used are saved in my phone memory and will automatically connect - somehow this device doesn’t. The device also needs to be connected to my forehead and turned on to connect it - but the pin is located on the back of the back of the device? So I have to disconnect it - write down the pin and then reconnect it to start using it.

    The only consistent thing the app does well is track the strength and length of time I use it for.

    The device itself does work and I will continue using it. They need to do major work on the app - once that’s up and running correctly it will be an amazing tool for migraine sufferers.

  • Needs updating

    The App needs an update and some bug fixes. It’s constantly disconnecting and very in reliable for adding sessions. Please fix 🙏
  • App isn’t worth it

    This app is really bad. Every time I start the device I have to put in the PIN number which inexplicably is only on the back of the device which is usually already on my forehead. If the app freezes during treatment it loses connection to the device you have to put in the pin but it’s running mid treatment on your forehead. Too bad. Is the treatment almost done? Is it stuck and going to run way too long? Who knows! Good luck!

    Migraine logging feature is super buggy. It forces you to log all kinds of criteria like medication taken but if I didn’t take medication that’s not a choice. I have to log oral medication. Weeks will go by and it will show a 22 hour migraine from who knows when and I have to log medication and symptoms to move forward and use the app.

    Get the plain non-BT Cefaly device, I thought the intensity chart would be helpful so I could understand what percentage I had worked up to, but for how clunky and unreliable this app is, it wasn’t worth the upgrade to the BT device even trading my old one.

    If you need a good migraine app try Migraine Buddy or get a prescription for Nerivio same thing but discretely uses your arm.

  • The app does not work

    The app gets stuck on 'click here to select optioms'. You guys really laid an egg on this one, which is not really acceptable in my opinion given the price tag and the fact that you sold it mostly on the Bluetooth feature. Without that , it is basically the same as the last model. So I don't understand how you could screw this up so badly. Please fix your app soon. Otherwise I am plsnning on returning this thing for a refund. I rooting for you guys, but it's not looking good. At a bare minimum, you need to get a good QA person.

    I would also suggest to stop asking people to get on the phone with customer support to learn the features. It is veru annoying. Just admit the app is broken, and fix the app asap so your product works as advertised.

  • Does this even work?

    Using for the first time today. I love my device. I had to replace my old model and sprung for the connected but apparently that was a waste of money because I had to close and reopen the app so many times even just to set up a login. Now using the device with it for the first time and the app stopped working literally 24 seconds into the hour treatment. I hope updates are coming to make this usable.

  • Awful App

    Cefaly itself has been helpful.

    However, I wish I hadn’t bought the connected because this app is awful. It disconnects repeatedly (even during sessions) requiring you enter the pin every time, it freezes, it crashes, and does not track all sessions. The entire point was to be able to have a log and with easy use to track and understand the devices impact.

    Very disappointed and hoping it gets fixed and is at least somewhat useable in the future.

  • Doesn’t work more than it does!

    This could be a good app and maybe get 3 stars if they would make it so it works all the time. I’ve noticed more days than not when doing a treatment, I get what I’ve now named, the blue screen of death. This is the blue screen with the white thinking circle. I have scheduled with a coach so please don’t tell me to do that! (I notice that is always the response from developers and using the app isn’t the problem, it’s the app itself!)I love the app when it works for tracking without me having to manually enter my tx. I like being able to know the intensity I reach too. Please fix your app so it doesn’t crash all the time!!!

  • Useless

    The app is absolute useless !!!
    Keeps disconnecting .
    What the hell are the developers of this app thinking ?!?!?!?
  • Unable to create account

    I’ve tried multiple times to create an account to use with my new Cefaly but I keep receiving this message: “It was not possible to create the request to verify the email.” I tried under multiple addresses which is frustrating after answering all the medical questions. Also, the QR codes on the Cefaly boxes do not work for this app. Help!
