  • A glitch

There’s a glitch causing it to no longer show current location. As well, it is showing all routes as canceled. PLEASE FIX THIS.
  • Continues to be Useless

You check the app, the train says it’s on time. You arrive at the platform 10 minutes early anyways. Still the app says on time. No train in sight on the map. Still, the app says it’s on time. The time has passed, no update, no train. Fast forward to 25 minutes later, checking the app continuously for updates, the metro just skips two set times and finally shows. There was a supposed “platform announcement” about 20 minutes into my wait, well you can’t hear because we’re literally on a busy street. What if I was deaf, how does that help? Let’s not forget the fact that no kiosks ever work, there is never security staff on site or on the trains and while I’m a paying customer via a card, homeless continue to ride for free. This app and metro continues to do nothing but provide false information to its riders.

Thank you for your suggests on ways to enhance the Valley Metro app. In future updates we will have rider profiles where you can favorite routes to get individual alerts about your routes.
  • Pay Through APP Feature!

I have lived in almost every majors city in the US, and lived in AZ over 10 yrs( the best) and still, you guys haven’t caught up with technology! Most transit APPs allow you to purchase a bus pass online with a debit or credit card, then it creates a virtual pass, that can be scanned using your smart phone, upon entering the bus. Have you guys added that on a different APP? It saves time and may increase riders by having the convenience of allowing debit and credit purchases through the APP. If you have it, please tell me where???

  • Helpful for college students

    It’s help
  • Needs more

    1. Needs to show routes in colored lines, similar to DC’s metro system
    2. Needs a dark theme option
  • Inefficient morning rides

The east bound buses; Camelback, Indian School, Thomas, McDowell start at 4am-ish but the first two morning runs end at 50-something street, they make sure everyone is off the bus and then continue going eastbound EMPTY!!! How much sense does that make? You’re paying the driver, you’re running the same way, why make people get off the bus and wait for the next bus to maybe show up. I say maybe because I’ve now noticed that the McDowell bus at least once a week, the first bus that runs the full route doesn’t show up? So Valley Metro pays 8 drivers(4 EB routes at 4am and 430am) and at least one other driver that doesn’t show up once a week to not pick up passengers? How can you advertise as being good for the environment when you’re needlessly driving empty after kicking people off the bus? And supposedly just added better morning coverage? Where? How? Brain dead people running this org.

And why are the smart cards only available for businesses? 8th largest municipality and we’re going to the gas station to get a bus pass when they could just make the smart cards available to everyone and reloadable from your phone. Or… most smart phones have nfc we don't even need a smart card just need to make the option to do everything through the app. Silly people.

  • What does this even do?

Aside from telling you which route to take for your destination, what else does this app do that others don’t already do better? For example, the Transit app tells you real-time transit information. This is highly useful information for when you’re sitting waiting for the light rail & have noticed it’s behind by 30+ minutes & you’re contemplating just taking an Uber, another useful app. Right now, most people are better off still using other apps for real-time transit information. If would be smart for the developers to do what the Transit app does & uses users location-tracking to update the rail/bus locations.

  • Real Time?

Bus and Light Rail seem to be real time on the map only when I’m riding them. I do not find a way to see where the bus or light rail is before I get on.

On 5/9/2022 I was at N 103rd Ave and West Camelback Rd at 11:52 am. Bus 50 should have come at 12:03pm. It does not show up at all. Nothing in the Valley Metro app told me whether the bus was late or not showing up at all. I’m glad I could wait for the 12:33 pm bus. It did come.

The app should let us know when a bus or train will be late.

  • A Most Have!!

Very useful if you depend on public transportation in Phoenix Metro.
  • Wild goose chase app

I've gotten on three wrong buses because of this app. Rarely gives most direct route. I can figure out my own route faster with 100% better precision. The most recent bug is the gps showed a bus pass me by, but there was no bus to be seen. So I started to walk towards my destination. Then suddenly the tracker showed the bus a block before the stop I was at. I had to run back to that stop to barely catch the bus. This app is retarded. More retarded stuff. My destination is 9.6 miles away. The app shows my bus already halfway through the trip on the map and reads the trip will only take 1 minute. Quantum travel maybe?
Today I missed another bus because this retarded app said the next bus was 20 minutes away. So I start walking to the next bus stop. 5 minutes later the bus passes me by. The developers of this app are retarded.

When using the trip planning feature, the app is designed to get you closest to your preferred arrival time, which may sometimes result in a route that is not the most direct. You can scroll down on the planned to trips to see which one works best for you.
