I think that this app is not for me, and it may not be for most people either. To start, I would like to comment on the incorrect punctuation and capitalization. That’s a big error for me, especially when this app didn’t capitalize my name. Secondly, anyone is better off just downloading any other app like this one. There seems to be a lack of creativity in the success plan, meaning the creators of this app didn’t really get down to a science or think outside of the box on how they wanted to help aid the user’s screen time situation. Lastly, as most other apps do these days as I’m finding, without the membership that costs money, the app is sort of pointless. The user can only control their screen time on one app, which is not ideal because most people don’t just have one app or one social media platform that they go on too much. Overall, I wouldn’t give this app a fair rating. I mostly think that the creators of this app didn’t put a lot of effort into it, and it’s showing through. You’re better off just choosing a different app.

  • Invasive

Why does it need my phone number just to use the app? No doubt going into a database somewhere for future marketing.
  • Great Concept, Ridiculous Pricing

Great concept for an app and from what I can see it works but the pricing options are disappointing. Developers should be ashamed of themselves and their clear and blatant desire to prioritise a cash grab is disgusting.
  • Better than competitors for setup; needs work

I’ve been using onesec for a few months. Setup for this app is way faster and the interventions are smoother since they use apple’s screen time system directly rather than making you set up shortcuts. You can use it with one app for free, otherwise $7 a month.

This app needs a lot of polish. Lots of bugs, though the main feature definitely works.

I think the intervention flexibility onesec offers is excellent and that’s really lacking here.

I would really love to see an option for limiting session length without the breathe intervention. There’s lots of apps where I want to have them easily accessible - checking messages in instagram comes to mind - but get kicked out fast to prevent doom scrolling.

Personally I’m not big on the mindful intervention screen itself, it’s very tech bro.

  • A game changer

This app has a super simple concept but it has made all the difference in the world. It was super annoying at first to be blocked even when I tried to ignore it, but now my first inclination isn’t to go on social media as soon as I open my phone. It’s also a way more affordable option than other apps.

The only reason this is a four star rating is because of a couple glitches the app has. I had some while setting up apps I wanted blocked, and now there’s a pop up menu just at the bottom of the screen covering the home and menu buttons. I know this is a relatively new app so bugs are to be expected!

Otherwise, this app is great. Highly recommend

  • Amazing app

This works better than any other app I’ve used - I have a ton of free time now because I don’t use it as much on social media
  • Loved it but too buggy

I downloaded it and paid for a month, was enjoying it, love the concept, but everyday it bugs out and locks me out of my apps and freezes, had to delete it.
  • Life changer

I’m only 20 minutes into using Clearspace and already I can see how much it’s going to be a game changer. I’d love to see more customization options but it’s an amazing start built upon an amazing philosophy. Download this app! You won’t regret it.
  • Baller app

Amazing. I’ve avoided endless scrolling and am much more present for my family. Has helped me kicked my phone habit.
  • Helped me so much

This app helped me stop mindlessly scroll social media. I’ve saved hours of wasted time and overall feel much more productive!!
