  • Only picks up people once they are at the camera

    I’ve went through support for this issue. Camera only detects people if they are 3 feet from the camera. Support said this is normal as it’s not a security camera. This company is a joke. Do not buy this pod. It’s total junk. It deserves-10 stars . Mostly for support. They are ignorant. Over 20 emails with nothing but a runaround. Stay far away from this companies products

  • Detection Zone

    Before the update. Was able to adjust the zones. Now it doesn’t switch over to a bigger screen when selecting zones to adjust detect. Pls fix this issue.

  • This app is so stupid I have to log back in everyday just to check the surveillance of my home

    There’s a bug going on that makes me log in everytime I want to use the app

  • Cannot get it to connect to WiFi

    I can’t set the camera up because it won’t connect to the wifi. The AI customer support literally just said follow the instructions during set up. Thanks genius. I’ve done that 10 times and it won’t work. Returning the camera because the app.

  • Works well so far on IOS, disappointing on Android

    Installed 2days ago. Installation and setup were fairly easy. Unit seems to work fine on Iphone 6S, but video will not play on Android tablet. All things considered, I like it well enough. I just wish there was some troubleshooting information available to make the videos work on my tablet. I tend to be closer to that than to my phone.
  • no inside chime

    Even after plugging the base station a foot away from the router, the doorbell does not chime inside, only on the phone and (sometimes) my Apple watch. It did chime inside once or twice, but not since. Have reset WiFi connection (very strong signal) and it is set properly at 2.4 Ghz.

  • App needs MAJOR updates.

    Aosu,

    Please change these 3 things.

    1. Ability to pause, rewind and scrub/drag the video frame by frame. This is basic and I’m not sure what developer wouldn’t think to include this. I shouldn’t have to try to hurry and press record to save a video, then go my album and try to watch it there. Which also takes ups unnecessary space on my phone.

    2. Turn off the auto play to next video feature. If I want to play the next video, I can easily click on it.

    3. Notification Previews — Needs a screenshot of the notification on the Lock Screen so I can decide if I need to open the app for viewing or if it’s a false alert and nothing is there. Again, this is pretty basic and is normal of my previous two doorbells.

    Bonus: Indoor chime could be much louder. I have my receiver plugged in close the doorbell for best reception to the camera. Can barely hear the chime when I’m upstairs in a 3 story home.

    What I can say, is the video quality is superb! Never have I seen a doorbell call so clear! Let’s channel some of the hardware efforts into the software and this doorbell would be 5 stars!

With regard to the question in your feedback, our app will support the progress bar dragging feature in the August release. The feature to notify with screenshots on the Lock Screen will also be supported in subsequent versions. Regarding the volume of indoor doorbell you mentioned, you can turn up the volume in "Settings-Chime Setings".   • This App Has Been Around Long Enough To Be Better By Now

    I suspect the few number of reviews, despite being around for 4 years, is people just giving up and moving on to other units. I can’t see a good reason why after that amount of time and customer input, that I’m unable to eliminate passing car notifications as “motion at my front door” when they are clearly NOT. Why are the passing cars sometimes the whole ride past, but other times just their bumper disappearing from view? Why I can’t get the full video of people actually walking up to my front door instead of when they’re right up on it.

    The settings are absolutely useless. Even if I set the actually paved part of the street to “private”, the larger vehicles continue to set off the notification, and I frankly shouldn’t have to do that anyway. I want a view of the entirety of my front porch and street. I’ve set the motion detection to “close”. I’ve set the sensitivity to “minimal”. I still have to delete 50-100 cars passing by per day. Why can’t this thing learn from what I’m deleting? But I can’t get it to show me the actual person who parked their car in front of my house, unloaded a large parcel, and walked it up the sidewalk. I only see when they’re at my door leaving it and walking away. Not freaking helpful.

    Though I find this video doorbell a bit heavy and unwieldy, I was prepared to review it positively if it had done what I expected. Hypersensitivity to traffic, but lack of sensitivity to actual human presence defeats the purpose I bought this for. That I can’t tweak the settings to correct for this is just not okay.
