Overall good video doorbell
Overall this doorbell works as intended. Video quality is good. IR mode is more grainy making it difficult to read license plates or see fine details.
The sensors do not do a good job determining between general vehicle motion or staying. I live in a busy condo commhnity and am close to the street. My camera picks up almost everything. I’ve reduced the sensitivity to preserve battery, but that didn’t work well. Either it still recorded most motion or none at all. It was not consistent.
The battery life is pretty terrible. It lasts only about every 3 weeks- and my doorbell is hardly ever pushed. It’s just from tracking all the motion.
The app leaves a lot to be desired. The delete button regularly disappears, and more so after an app update. I have to close the app and reopen for the feature to turn back on. This is most frustrating. Please fix this!
Also, downloading and saving the files is pretty easy, but sharing the files is challenging. I have yet to be able to text a saved file to someone. Which doesn’t make sense because I can easily test a video of something else.
Overall, not bad for what you pay for. Just wish battery life was significantly better, the app didn’t crash so much, and the motion sensitivity was improved.mmarquis78
Great App and Camera!
I bought the camera for my living room and I love it. It constantly records so even if motion is not detected I can still hear what is going on. It has a privacy feature which puts the camera to sleep which is awesome. It swivels so quietly and the picture is sharp!!!Mkriswilliams
Good App - but missing some basic features
I use this app to monitor six Aosu cameras. It works well, but is missing some basic functionality.
For example, I’d like to put my more important cameras at the top of my camera list for easy access —but there’s no way to reorder them.
Also, it would be nice to have an iPad-specific version of this software (or at least some way to view the video feeds in full screen mode on my iPad.)

Great doorbell - needs better notification
Great overall doorbell and quality. Wish it would have a notification sound at the inside homebase when motion is detected. When the doorbell is rang, it’s great, but no chime motivation with motion needs to be added.MikeTX27
Not for iPad !
It does not work on iPad Pro with full screen ! That’s terrible.. how hard is that to fix such simple feature ??? I will change my review once they fix and updateAalexqqq

Great video doorbell but the app needs a little work
Please add these features:
-the ability to extend clip to 2 minutes
-when talking through the speaker, it doesn’t record my voice, only the person at the door. Please please please fix this.
-show the actual battery percentage instead of just a battery icon.
-the ability to manually turn on the alarm instead of only when the camera is removed from the backplate (to scare off package thieves or someone tampering with your car)
-when saving the video clips it always takes 2-3 seconds off of the beginning of the clip. It might be a bug, but please fix it
-IR scheduling feature instead of just automatic switching, because the streetlights confuse the sensor and it keeps flicking back and forth at night.
I really like the video doorbell and chime, and the app seems to be a work in progress. It would be perfect with the fixes above.djdjdj1234
