Unifi protect should be there!

Good protect but not well design for the needs. Unifi protect should be there, in one interface instead of switching between 2 apps with camera and security to open a door for example …

Can’t view connected cameras in app

Remote answering of door doesn’t have a lot of utility without the ability to see who is ringing. Can’t imagine how Ubiquiti could overlook such a crucial feature in the app.

Hi Mark International Pilot, generally, when someone rings the doorbell from the UA Pro/G2 Pro, the Door Attendant can receive a notification from the UniFi Access Mobile app. After clicking on it, they can perform live view and remote unlock operations. If it doesn't work for you, could you contact us at ua-support@ui.com so that we can work together to figure it out?

Gate opener/receiver

Had it installed/recommended by installer - numbers so small can hardly read and with the glare of the sun forget it - the small inreadable keypad is anything but user friendly.

No longer works

App crashes on startup, tried all the usual fixes. Looks like the app is dead until Ubiquiti gets a fix out.

App crashes on launch

App immediately crashes immediately after clicking the icon on the Home Screen. Deleting and reinstalling the app doesn’t help at all.

Unfortunately, using the web interface is the only other option; the web interface for access isn’t usable on mobile, since the sidebar section isn’t visible.

Poor QA

We’ve been successfully using this app with our platform for a couple of months; relying upon it for door access. Ubiquiti software development team’s quality assurance is apparently so horrid, that the app now suddenly crashes after the latest update, making it totally useless. Now we can’t remotely access videos, login credentials, or access logs. What a piece of junk.

Solid

Very functional and useful, lets you do most management tasks that you would probably want. Only thing I’d like to see added is a faster way to unlock a door and leave it unlocked, as opposed to having to go into the hub’s settings. Also, I wish key cards worked on multiple buildings, and not just one.

Hi Steve5215, we have recently improved the UniFi Access mobile app's dashboard allowing quicker unlocks. The doors will be listed on the dashboard and double tapping or long press will unlock it.
