    Last left a review in May 2024 advising that the check in function in the app doesn’t allow my phone camera to focus on my teeth so every single photo is blurry and you can’t tell if the treatment is working or not based on photos. Customer service is really good though, and I have been looked after during my 3 year treatment (hopefully finishing soon)!

  • Honestly not worth it

    This has honestly been a poor experience and feels like I wasted a ton of money. I wish I would have paid the little extra to do Invisalign with an in person dentist than to try to navigate this process. There is no consistency on who reviews your progress, so you may get conflicting information and direction like I did. This may also lead you to outgrow your aligner warranty (convenient) which requires you to pay even more money if you need to get aligners replaced because they break after being instructed to wear them WELL past what you’re supposed to for a single aligner. Finally get byte to place your retainer order after months of begging them?? Lol how about the package never shows up with the final upper aligners and now is going to take another 3-4 weeks to be made and shipped because of an error on their end with the processing of the order (I have the order confirmation email too). Feels odd this all starts happening near the tail end of my treatment after my warranty runs out but I could pay more money to address the concerns. Save yourself the hassle and work directly with your dentist.

  • Glitchy app needs fixing

    The app is so terribly glitchy. It doesn’t sync with hyperbyte and if you manually add it, it disappears later. the dates are off with switching aligners and it won’t let you fix it. It’ll ask me to check in when i just did it a few days prior. And now the apps says i’m done with my aligners for weeks when i still have several weeks left. The really unfortunate thing is you can’t even look online instead of the app to make sure you’re on track, they require to use the glitchy app only. If you try to email them a problem, it takes a week or more to get a response. I’m over a month behind on finishing because of all these delays waiting for team to respond after an issue. After spending sing 3000$, it’s frustrating to get this kind of quality…

  • Needs work!

    This app is ok I guess. I will say that I keep having problems with the hyperbyte not staying synced. I even with manually entering when I used it, it will not stay. I’ve seen multiple other reviews about this same problem. Also it’s pretty frustrating that I cannot edit the exact day when I change my aligners. At first it was saying change every 7 days which is my treatment plan, now it says change every 12 days which is super weird because I didn’t have my treatment planned changed. So not being able to change to when I actually am changing aligners is a problem because how am I supposed to keep track when the actually day to change is wrong. This app needs some work to fix these issues.

  • Better than my ‘my smile direct’ .

    I had smile direct before Byte. I had to stop using them cause theirs werent fixing my teeth and they hurt SO bad on my gums . They give you and file , like a nail file to file them yourself . SMH . Didn’t work at all. Needless to say waster of money. Byte’s customer service is A1! On point! They are so nice and cool to help you. Your totally not a problem when your are calling about issues , if there are any. Also the hyper byte is Amaazing!!! I mean it made my smile look like I’ve had braces. AH-mazing!!! So happy I went with Byte! Y’all rock!!

  • Easy to get started!!!

    So far my Byte journey has been very nice. I ordered the impression kit and it came very quickly. I completed all of the steps and then sent it back and then within I want to say two weeks I received my treatment and retainers. The whole process really took less than 30 days and that’s true inception to, receiving my treatment plan so so far it’s been a good journey. I haven’t worn retainers in a long time and these are very comfortable and the experience has been very interactive which I like.

  • Stop spamming me

    I receive a notification every 6 minutes to “check-in”. There’s no other way to report this issue. Maybe update the app with that option as well
  • Love the Aligners, Hate the App

    I've been using the aligners for 5 months, and I see so much improvement in my smile. My teeth are noticeably straighter, and it's such a confidence boost! The dental support team has been amazing to work with, making sure I'm confident with each step of my treatment plan.

    My only complaint lies with the app. It's glitchy to say the least. It logs me out constantly, and my treatment steps have been incorrectly listed frequently. This has resulted in multiple email chains with dental support to make sure they hadn't changed my treatment plan without informing me. The tech support is frustrating to work with, as the chat specialists almost always say someone will need to follow up via email. The follow up is usually an impersonal email template, and half the time the response has nothing to do with my concerns. I've started keeping track of my treatment in a notebook instead of using the app.
