    I bought Miko back in 22 I can’t say anything about the app it did work for me the problems I had with it was there is no number to call I believe if there was a number to call a lot of customers would feel ok with it I understand there a bot that you can text but did not feel comfortable with it also it did turn on by itself a couple times my child was very scared and did not want to play with it I felt like someone was watching you I still have it batteries are dead did not want to charge it and turn it back on I did cancel my subscription I would give this a 2 out of 5 stars

    Overall disappointed, the price point is very high for what you get. Just seems like a money grab with paying the upfront cost and then if you want to really use it you have to pay for the “Max” plan. Not impressed, we almost bought two of them, one for each kid and I’m really glad we didn’t now. Wish I wouldn’t have even bought the one.

  • False advertising

    They lie about the camera and video recording. You don’t own your content that you create. It’s held hostage in the Miko robot.
    My daughter thought she was getting her own camera robot that she could take photos and videos of things and Miko accompany her on her adventures but the company owns anything she takes photos and videos of. You can’t download anything. You can’t print any of your kids photos and put in a scrapbook it’s trapped forever in the robot. You download this ap and think her content would be uploaded in the ap nope. It has an Sd card for additional storage but doesn’t let you download from there and WiFi but you can’t airdrop or get access to any of your kids content. If you ask customer service they say it’s not downloadable. So what’s the point? What’s the point of a camera if you can’t print your photos and have them.

  • High expectation, mediocre experience

    Similar to other reviews, we thought Miko was going to be an awesome addition to my son’s play experience. Unfortunately Miko wakes up by himself often and is disruptive—even with the sleep timer set from 7a-7p. It also doesn’t stop my son from being able to log on outside of those times. And instead of the STEM/educational content, my son is basically watching YouTube-style videos with running commentary on video games—NOT the content I was hoping for nor wanting. My son seems more agitated and aggressive post Miko, and I worry that it exacerbates his ADHD/ODD. Max subscription only seemed to open up more of that type of content. I canceled during our trial—which I’ve rarely done, but the content certainly does NOT justify the price. Overall really disappointed with our Miko experience—I hope yours is better.

  • Miko does get better

    With the Miko max subscription makes all the difference and keeps my 2yr old son Interested even if he doesn’t understand somethings, maybe they can make a 2+ update for early starters hopefully the Miko team will keep it interesting so he can grow with his little buddy.
  • 50/50

    Miko like many others was an idea I had for my child after watching the ads on tv. The loading on Christmas 2022 like others was delayed a day due to everyone else trying to log in. Don’t like that they keep pushing the Max plan but everything has worked on it so far. Only big issue is when the stupid robot wakes up in the middle of the night while plugged in even when we set the downtime from 9 pm to 7 am. The company has a great product idea here but needs to make the experience so much better.

    This stupid thing keeps disconnecting from the
    Wi-Fi and won’t update. I came across some users on the internet and they stated it doesn’t
    Connect to 5.0ghz but only 2.4ghz connections, this has been such a headache please avoid.
  • App doesn’t work

    I’ve been trying to set up and account since Christmas and I can’t even make it past the email page on the app. I hit continue, and then press create new account. Then the app kicks me back to start and freezes. I emailed Miko and they sent me videos that I had already watched, and step by step instructions on how and what to enter on each step in the app. They are not listening that the app is frozen and won’t let me go forward. They are not understanding that I am not technologically incapable, and I don’t need to be told where to enter my email and when to press continue…but that this app might be faulty again. It is January 7th. For reference, yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled app, and rebooted Miko several times. It is not Miko, it is the app. I’m not too happy this robot was $300 and I need to app that won’t work.

    Awfulllll!!! waste of time & money!! Plus.. it's sooooo loud on low i had to duct tape foam over the noise windows... never works when wanted cause it already doesn't hold its charge!! Like i said... a big waste!!
  • At least my kid likes it

    I tried to cancel my subscription for Miko Max within the 7 day free trial but there was no cancel subscription button available and the chat bot would not connect me with an agent. You are not billed monthly but all at once. Also I am unable to call my child or vice versa. This feature doesn’t work. After telling Miko to go to sleep (turn off) it still listens and randomly will say “I didn’t catch that. Ask me again a different way”.
