BeMe aims to serve adolescents and young adults in establishing and maintaining positive overall well-being and overcoming mental health challenges through professional and peer support. A Doctor of Psychology founded the app with over twenty years of experience, and a children’s technology advocate passionate about improving mental health resources and making them readily available for kids, teens, and young adults. BeMe has implemented a teen advisory board consisting of teens and college students to assist in understanding their target audience through feedback and insight. The hours I explored BeMe, I found it to be helpful as an adult, and I can see this being something I could have benefited from as an adolescent. I recommend this app and can see myself using it with future adolescent clients in a therapeutic setting between weekly sessions.
