Description of ParkSmart

Say goodbye to fumbling for coins, remembering parking space numbers, or that long trip back to the car to put something on the dashboard. With ParkSmart–BayST, all that hassle is a thing of the past. To make it as easy as possible, download the secure app in advance and enter your license plate number and credit card information. (You can even enter multiple vehicles.) Then, the whole process is as simple as 1-2-3. 1) Once you arrive at the lot, enter the parking lot location number on the sign. 2) Select how long you’ll be staying. 3) Pay with a single click. ParkSmart–BayST will then send you confirmation and a receipt via text, and you’re all done. Of course, you can also enter your license plate number and credit card information when you arrive, but with ParkSmart lots all over Northern California, why not make things as simple as possible and download the app today? If you’re looking for monthly parking, many ParkSmart–BayST locations have monthly parking options as well. After booking your monthly space in advance, you can park in the lot each day without having to worry about re-entering your car or license plate information. We know parking is never high on your list of fun things to do, but with ParkSmart–BayST, parking is as painless as parking can be.

  • app is better now

Before, it was so confusing on how to get a discounted ticket for AMC and Barnes Noble. But now they have pictures for you to click on. Now I can actually get discounts than accidentally paying for hourly parking.
  • Useless app -cannot create account

Can’t even create an account. During the signup process, the app says the password must be alphanumeric only. Tried that. Didn’t work. Then the app says the password must include a special character. Tried that. Didn’t work. Then the app cycles back to saying the password can only consist of alphanumeric characters. If they can’t get this most basic functionality right, how do I trust them with my credit card information?

  • How did anyone paid to make this depressing app?

    Park-“Smart”, I don’t know.

I have been sitting on the bookstore of this mall for at least 30 minutes trying to sign in to this sad excuse of a parking app. It fails on me with cryptic messages and requests that change the password to what it already is (someone needs a regex refresher) or complains about invalid characters on a name I have not even entered yet.

How anyone considered this production ready is beyond me. You should never torture your customers when they’re trying to give you money. They’ll have time to come to their senses and leave.
