Bad UI and adherence to standards. Can’t quit.

I bought the program, used it for a while, and had good experience. But I decided to end the subscription. When I tried to delete the program, they have prevented and remapped the command-Q to force their advertising and subscription. Bad form…horrible experience at the end.

Misleading Purchase Process

On the purchase process screen, it stated that a 7-day free trial was included. However, I was charged immediately, even though I hadn't decided if I wanted the product. Additionally, the product isn't integrating the logo well, and I no longer want it. My question now is, how do I get a refund?

SCAM

I installed this app on my Macbook Pro. Went through the intro setup to the page where it FORCES you to sign up for a purchased subscription (I thought it was free). Now it won't let me shut down the app or remove the it even though I've tried every way possible. Can't even shut down my Macbook because the app is open. Maybe this is a good app for the people who are paying for a monthly subscription, but it's a HUGE SCAM since it won't let you close the app until you give them money.

Excellent bulk CSV features

I love this software! As a developer myself, I really value well written software, and excellent technical support. Since begining to use QR Factory as part of a workflow that requires regerating hundreds of QR codes per week from CSV data, it has exceeded all my expectations. Their development team has added features specifically to support my workflow, and with their rapid response times and superb manner the only thing I wish for is that I could buy more software from these guys! I'd love to have Tunabelly style support for other software titles I have to use :-)
If I could give this app more than 5 stars I would!

Exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect application for QR codes. Easy to navigate and use. Only thing I would like to see is the website address field in contact information. That would be awesome.

Cant Preview Without Paying

I'm starting a food company and I have a MASSIVE book and item colloection I need to make barcodes for. This app looks great, but I dislike the fact that you can't seem to test the app without agreeing to a minume 3 months at $4.99 after 7 days. I would much rather be able to test the app for 7 days and then they lock the app until you sign up or somthing. The main reason I get enough junk emails about promos for apps I've shown no intrest in and will never buy or use. (I uninstalled without testing.)

Contact with Developer!

I had an idea to create a QR contact code with the information of ANOTHER PERSON that I could put on the back of my phone.
The idea was that if someone found my phone, they'd scan the info and contact that person to let them know they had my phone (because, DUH, if they had my info, I wouldn't get the call!).
So I wanted the NOTE to be super clear that this was MY phone and the contact info was someone else.
Additionally, I wanted the NOTE to have line breaks... and wasn't able to figure out how to do it. I reached out to the developer (Matt) and he got back to me quickly and told me how to do it!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP and KUDOS to Matt for being on top of his customer requests/communication!

Fantastic App!

I purchased this app recently to help me generate bulk qr codes for a client. The capabilities are fantastic and reliable. For bulk codes there's a slight learning curve, but honestly very slight.

Today I tried the brand new AI feature just for fun. The ChatGPT plugin works very well and I can see how it will streamline creation of codes for me in the future.

Can't try before you subscribe. When faced with this kind of agressive UI design I find it is better to move on immediately.

We offer a free 7 days trial with no cost. You can subscribe, then immediately cancel it and there's no risk of being charged for anything. We even provide the links and instructions on how to cancel it so users have that knowledge. For the App Store, there's no concept of trials, so this is the best alternative. Hopefully this helps to clarify how it works and if you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to email our support team anytime.

Unless you need batch processing, not worth the price

I appreciate the local-only processing for security, but there are free QR creation apps available in the Mac App Store with much broader visual stylisation options that also process locally (and offer Shortcuts actions!).

Unless you need built-in batch processing (which I haven't tested and cannot comment on), I don't think this is worth it. Not even on sale.
