Promised better app with less functionality

Buggy to me and I’ve been having issues getting my Brunswick to connect. Finally got it connected and was able to use it. The app works okay, I think the Graph-lytics on the old app were awesome though I’d love to see some kind of graphing system put into place into this new app, it helps a ton and it’s always good to see what kind of temp spikes you get and how drastic everything is effected from opening doorShow lessbrbank

This app is complete trash. First it uses wifi so good forbid your wifi goes out at least with Bluetooth that wouldn’t matter so any power outage you’re screwed. Ok so let’s dig into the bigger stuff. Setting a temperature is impossible it just won’t let you and if you try it will constantly text you saying temp archived meaning whatever temperature it’s at it will text you which happens about every five seconds. Roughly 30 texts per minute . Deleted after two mins. Please for the love of god fix this till then this app is a must pass.Show lessJohnBoY418

This app works way better than the old one. I used to have to delete the app and reinstall it again just to connect to my grill not to mention if I left my house, I could not use the Wi-Fi on the app with this app I could use the Wi-Fi. I was literally 7 miles away with no issues. For me it works great.Show lessomgrwiw
Awful—took away everything we could do before
Awful app that won’t complete the “grill update” process but also won’t show any grill info. Perfect that Pit Boss would force a move to an app that doesn’t let you do any of the things the prior app allowed. Just garbage. Fortunately SmokeIt is still working on my grill so I can actually use the features of the “smart” grill I purchased.Show lessjcbirdieman10
Big step down from SmokeIT
This app has half the features of SmokeIT. It’s almost not even worth installing. I think you spent more time on the logo graphics than you did on the rest of this app. Not only does the app lack features it also looses connection to WIFI and Bluetooth. The promo says “manage your grill from anywhere” I think there needs to be a disclaimer….as long as your 5 feet away from the grill. I’ll stick with my Meater and other probes. You shouldn’t tarnish your brand with inferior products like this.Show lessS@ncti0n
Great Update
More responsive than the old app. Shows when you’re connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Shows both temperature probes when connected and the notifications work fine. Tested it out last night and was way happier than with the SmokeIT app. Pitboss 820CSSlothman29
Missing temperature settings on APP
Why did they remove features and temp settings? Temperature settings missing on app 190° 210° 220° 230° 240° 260° 270° 280° 290° only temps available smoke, 200° 225° (temperature doesn’t exist on my grill jumps to 230°) 250° 300°. They remove the grill analytic graph. Devs need to add back the 10° increments between Smoke (180°) up to 300°. I also noticed a bug when I’m not in Bluetooth range, it will rest the temp to 180° pretty frustrating because I can’t control the in between temp in the 190°-300° range.Show lessbmcarden
Took all the fun out of smoking.
This is the worst “upgrade” of an app I have ever seen. Temp setting on the app do not match the ones on the actual grill. All the data points and grapphs are gone. This should be an absolute embarrassment for Pit Boss. I’m probably going to get a different brand smoker now.
