You Can No Longer Submit Building Wide Maintenance Requests

Hey Ryjacs, We're sorry that this functionality is currently not available in our app. We are working hard to add new features, including community maintenance requests in the future. In the mean time, you're able to submit a maintenance request for community issues by either reaching out to your community manager, or through the Resident Portal website.

While the keyboard is up, can you try tapping the screen outside the keyboard? That should clear the keyboard and allow you to submit your request. If your issue persists, please contact your onsite community team so they can escalate your issue on your behalf. Thank you, Greystar Living Support

Broken, buggy, pointless
Payments, for example, are no longer done through an in-app interface, but instead require opening an in-app web browser to login to the resident website. Why on earth this decision was made is beyond me. The old app handled payments directly inside the app without the clunky, often buggy, web browser, and didnโt require additional logins.
This by itself is enough to give this ill conceived waste a one star rating. People famously love it when you take something that works well, and replace it with something that doesnโt work at all half the time.
As for the rest of the app, it constantly fails or takes excessive amounts of time to load anything.
Why this app was rushed out, when it so clearly is not finished, is beyond me. Maybe over time theyโll update it to the point itโs usable, but I wouldnโt be the least bit surprised if they leave it broken, the same way they leave half the amenities on the property I live in broken.
I can only assume, like so many other halfassed โimprovementsโ they make, this broken app will be touted as a new โamenityโ to justify further obscene rent increases.
If Greystar canโt fix a doorknob or an air conditioner in a timely fashion, definitely donโt count on them to fix this anytime soon. Or at all.
