  • Second attempt to review

    Let’s see if the review magically sticks this time. This pricing scheme is exploitative and prohibitive to the very disabled people it’s supposed to help. People with disabilities already bear extra expenses that are increasingly difficult to afford in this world.

    I cannot think of a logical reason for a recurring fee structure, especially an expensive one, except greed. Greed off the backs of those least able to bear the extra expenses. Shame on you all.

    Hi Dolphin. We understand your concern. Our surveys showed that our users (especially with ADHD, ADHS, dyslexia, with reading difficulties) need different subscriptions. That’s why we decided to use this model. You can use it for free. But if you like more features, there are even ways to customize your subscription. We think this is fair for everyone.   • not giving me the subscription i paid for

    i had such high hopes for this app and was super excited. i have zero problem paying for the premium plus monthly so i went ahead and signed up and the first night it was awesome! until a few nights later i got on the app and it stripped away my subscription even though i was charged for the month and my apple bill shows i was charged. the app keeps telling me to upgrade my subscription when i literally paid for the premium plus already and it hasn’t even been a week of having the monthly subscription!!!

  • Would be amazing if this actually was made more accessible

    Have yet to be able to read a pdf, or work out how to read something in my kindle with this.
    Its ironic that a tool that could be so useful for people like myself with learning and processing disabilities is almost impossible to access without either a) paying for it or b) spending ages finding how to tutorials and videos about how convert files to use it. Someone needs to fund this so it can be easily accessible.

  • Good app.

    unfortunately there is a bug where my account is not “Premium” anymore. I started the subscription yesterday and all was good until today. Hopefully they fix it.

  • Waste of money

    Paid for a subscription and the app is prompting me to login in, I login it doesn’t seem to register the login if I click upgrade it tells me I’m already subscribed once I click on the package I’ve payed for. Can’t even request a refund in subscriptions as the payment has been taken but is registering as ‘pending’. Given there’s no report a problem functionality feel kinda scammed

  • Paid subscription doesn’t work either

    I just paid for the Premium Plus so that I can download PDF’s and also send to Kindle. Neither of those functionalities are working, even after I’ve paid for the app’s full functionality. Hoping to receive a refund.

  • Subscriptions

    I used to use this app very often a few months ago. My favourite app to help me understand my reading better, I was able to put all my documents in here and it was quick and easy. Now they force you to do a subscription just to upload files, and even those subscriptions have limits.
    I completely understand needing money to continue funding this project, and donations aren’t always a reliable way to receive money for that. But anything else seems better than the two subscription options they give you from a consumer perspective. Both options feel too little or too extreme, both price and plan wise. I really wish they’d go back to being a free service, maybe just with ads, and then an option for a one time payment to get rid of ads forever.

  • Can’t Download to my iPad (premium plus)

    Downloading the converted file doesn’t work on my iPad (epub or pdf). I tried a dozen things like file types, file name size, permissions, update/restart. It acts like it was downloaded but the file is nowhere to be found when I check.

  • Disappointed

    I was excited for this app, but sadly every time I try to upgrade so that I can actually use it (nearly no features with free version.)

    When I select upgrade from the homepage or my account page it just pulls up a white screen with the logo on it.

    Needless to say huge disappointment 😞

  • Paid and they have no record of my account

    I had set up an account two months ago. Had many converted files in my library, tried to log on to read today and my account wasn’t logged in. Went to log in and they had me set up a new account (apparently my account was deleted I guess?) now my files are gone and they have no record of the year sub I’ve already paid for.

    I feel ripped off, scammed, and downright disgusted.
