  • Terrible

The service is terrible. Consistently the app tells you the driver is in the way but the driver just goes to sit at a gas station for like half an hour after accepting the stop. I schedule my rides stupid early and still end up getting either stiffed on the ride (and they don’t give me a full refund) or they don’t get there until an hour after the pickup window. It’s the principle of the matter at this point. Sure they charge me a dollar to cancel the ride but it’s happened so many times, and I always get the SAME pre written email from them every time I reach out. I use this service because I work practically full time and I don’t have a car.

  • There are still some awesome drivers

Antonio Butler is a amazing driver he’s always on time and very helpful and cares about the people he pick up
  • Not very organized

Scheduled my first ever ride at about 9 or 10 this morning for 4 was waiting in the app refreshing still no driver details it says pickup between 2:55 and 3:10 at 2:54 still no update and I have to be out there at that spot because driver can come at any point as I’m walking get a text that it’s being delayed doesn’t tell me how delayed just that there’s a delay and with it being 90 plus degrees with a heat advisory I will not be staying out there just going to go ahead and stick with my Ubers that can pick me up at my location and tell me when they are coming to get me

  • Not Reliable

Being that I work in transportation myself, using this to simply get back to work is a terrible option. There’s been instances where drivers wouldn’t show up. Instances were drivers will be late. Let alone drop you off at work late. with my job It’s very critical you show up on time unless you get deducted pay. I’ve expressed this to the higher-ups as well as local managers, I can’t stress this enough if you’re looking for a reliable transportation, this is not it. I’ve given them chance after chance, but I can no longer support the app due to that. I understand how this goes it’s very unorganized and they don’t have the manpower to support the increase volume. It seems like they pitched an idea to the local cities to get on, but didn’t have the proper equipment or manpower to support it.

  • Great service - timely

Just wish my deadbeat worthless soon to be XWife could have looked d for a job there (or ANYWHERE)!!! I’ll call again since she also STOLE our only running vehicle with my in near-death health conditions…
  • Just walk Ya’ll…

This app gets you a driver.., about half an hour to an hour after you are supposed to be picked up. If you are lucky they will actually show up and not cancel on you just to get your ride rerouted 5-6 times and STILL not have a driver. ended up being over an hour late to work and spending cash on an uber after talking to customer support for a new driver just to get the SAME USELESS DRIVER!!!!! ZERO STARS! JUST WALK!

  • It’s ok

You can get an inexpensive ride to your destination. However, you might have to wait for a long time for your driver to show up if they even show up at all. The drivers seem to be paid by the hour as they sit and kill time when they should be heading to your pickup.
  • World Class Service

My use of the app has been somewhat limited, but the few rides I HAVE taken have been a breath of fresh air. Super accommodating drivers, dropping me off close to my intended destination rain or shine, even if it puts them a little out of the way of their route.
  • Can’t trust when you need to be at your destination on time.

I’ve been using IRIS for couple of weeks now, I always book a ride a day or two in advance, even then the ride doesn’t show up on time. 90% of the time, it’s always 10-15 minutes late than the window I booked for.
  • It works, with some serious caveats

Having taken several trips with Iris I will say this

    - it works
    - It is cheap

With that though come drawbacks, and for anyone who has used any of the big rideshare apps, they will seem very frustrating.

    - You will have to walk
    - You will have to wait
    - You will have only a 15 minute window letting you know when your ride will arrive, and no real-time telemetry. Generally, they show up at the end of the window in my experience.

This last point is what I find most frustrating. Any modern transit app should have vehicle telemetry. Even the bus tracking apps have this. The lack of information leaves you standing on a street corner for 15 minutes or more. Eventually, a car pulls up.

So, if you can live with these points it works. I understand what they’re going for, essentially a bus-taxi hybrid. Even with that model though, there are improvements that could be made to make the user experience much better.
