Let me disable face offs
Please add an option to remove face offs. Not everyone wants to use them and they take up half the screen. I just want my content. Let me disable them, please!!
Strange app
Disappointed it asks me to sign in everytime I open the app. Its news, why ask me to login. Stopped using it
Not fun
This app declines with every update. Constantly resetting to the top of page while scrolling through.
Constantly popping up to ask you to log in. I don't want to log in and share information to get this kind of news, it's unnecessary. Navigating through has become tedious and frustrating.

Broken
Your app is broken. I’m trying to scroll through the news feed and it keeps refreshing me back to the top. It’s very annoying. Please fix it.
App is unusable
I have been using this app daily for many years and it has become completely unusable.
Whenever you scroll through your news feed, every few seconds, it snaps back to the top, meaning you have to scroll all the way down again, just for it to happen all over again.
I’ve given up. I enjoy IGN news but can’t deal with the frustration anymore.
As other reviewers have said, it seems like the app gets more broken with each update. This time, they broke it completely.

they broke the app and don’t care
Scroll past 8-10 articles and it reverts to the top, it’s infuriating and has been like this for the last year and half. Using iphone 11 with lastest updates to the app and software, deleting and reinstalling doesn’t work.
Update more like a downdate
An update a few months ago has made the app keep glitching out, as I scroll through the news feed it keeps scrolling all the way back to the top after a minute

Updates Broke It
This “was” my got to app, but recent updates have been horrible. To the point that app is unusable on iPhone and iPad, both.
To start with, every time you launch the app, highly irritating prompt to login pops up. And it’s a different story that if you login, the app will log you out automatically every few days.
But I could have still lived with it. However now that you click on “stay logged out” the application freezes.
There are weird performance issues too causing app to slow down. Playing videos takes multiple clicks sometimes and responsiveness is affected too.
Whatever testing/QA IGN has setup, it has been surely playing video games instead of ensuring quality launch.
Shame there are hardly any replacements but then a lesser app will be better alternative to useless one.

Broken article listings…
Recent updates have broken the refresh mechanism. The app now randomly refreshes the article listings and scrolls the view making it really difficult for browsing anything but the top few stories.
Updates Are Painful
Every new update makes the app more unbearable to use. The latest forces users to constantly be signed into an account with IGN. It’s free I get it, but the fact that it pops up every time you open the app is obnoxious. Additionally, the app randomly shifts itself back up as you scroll through the news. All on top of bugs from the past which carry through each update.
