It has no equals!
Just like the HP marketing machine used to say.
This app is about as good as it can get and well worth the price. It made me dig out my old manuals. Well done.

Get it!
I paid $325 for a HP 41cv in 1981, and sold it on eBay for $275 in 2004 (mint condition). I regretted it later because it was a fantastic product. It was exceptionally well built and had remarkable capabilities.
This version functions just like the original. I have an HP 12C emulator for iPhone, but the keys are hit and miss. On this one, the keys are perfect.
I am absolutely delighted to find this calculator, and I know I will get a lot of use from it.

Fine calculator for those who don't know the HP41C original; a superb emulation for those who do.
Those who only need a great scientific calculator should know that this is a superb one. It uses RPN entry, features myriad scientific functions, is programmable, and will do everything one could expect of a calculator -- and more. Those already familiar with the HP41C series should know that this is a splendid emulation of that wonderful device. It is functionally flawless and executed with imagination and elegance. It even improves on the versatile and convenient original in many ways both functional and aesthetic: It can make stack values visible, includes a virtual printer, provides for virtual keyboard overlays, imports easily downloadable program modules, and makes a helpful and realistic keyboard click if it is wanted and even when the iphoneβs sound is off. And, if only an illustration of the developer's exacting care, the click is there even when the calulator is off -- just as with the physical original. Altogether a great, great app. Finally, if you do ever need support it is provided with a quality that matches the quality of the app.

Amazing emulation
Amazing application. Best calculator out there. Great effort has been invested to make it as close to the real one as possible. Even the expansion modules and the keypad covers are emulated. But the question remains; what would the ingineers that designed this calculator would have done with an iPhone/iPod touch like device? How would have they evolved the interface considering the capabilities of the device and its dynamic nature? I bought this one and absolutely don't regret it. But I still ask myself how a 2010 version of the 41cx would look like.

When you turn your iPhone on, it will return the favor.
In today's iPhone calculator world, the question isn't whether or not your app has available features like realistic buttons. It isn't about the number of functions or colored accents, nav screens or any of that. No, the real question is: When you turn your App on, does it return the favor?"
And the i41CX does that. And more. Its beyond value for money. This is the reason the iPhone was created. All that phone and SMS stuff is an irrelevance, the REAL purpose of the iPhone is for the i41CX.
Emulator? Who are they kidding? Itβs better than the original. You know, the original calculator we saved up to purchase 3 decades ago. The one we duked it out with the TI59 (confess it, you have both, donβt you?). And the one we could only afford the Packs after saving up for a couple of months. Well the packs are free. And there isn't an emulator for the TI59 (oh well :-(
Just buy this app. You know you want to. And then when you turn your iPhone on, it will return the favor.

Absolutely Amazing! A $350 programmable calculator for $15
I thought: $15... I don't know... iApps are generally cheap... And: What am I going to have to give up for it to fit on my iPhone?
Nothing... this is a stunning accomplishment. Not only does it provide full functionality and look of the HP 41cx, it provides free access to many of the optional modules and even the printer!
I bought my first hand-held calculator in 1974 guys... I've been through a LOT of them and spent the money for them. My latest purchase was a TI-89 for several hundred.
THIS i41cx+ app is a GREAT deal. Whatever your academic or professional area... All I can say is: You gotta get this one.

Fantastic!
I paid over Β£130 for my HP41C in 1979- it is still going strong but I am nervous about using it every day. For Β£8.99 this is a miracle!
i41CXp
Brilliant programme. Well worth the price - and more!
Excellent app
I always wanted an HP calc when I was in school & now I finally have it! I love the nostalgia, and I'm learning rpn well enough now to make the my calc of choice!
Great work (and great ongoing support as well)

A good thing keeps getting better
AL Software's prompt attention to user feedback and the expansion of features make this app even more appealing than it was when 1.0 was released at half the price. AL has even included full emulation of the rare, expensive, and highly sophisticated HEPAX module. This app will not appeal to those with no appreciation for RPN, keystroke programming, or the Hewlett-Packard calculator legacy. But is a must have for those who have either owned or wanted to own the real thing when it was at its most popular in the 1980s. There is an active community of 41-series lovers alive and well, and this little app is a great way to join that fraternity without the cost of repairing an old unit or purchasing a working used one. I have a real 41CX and collectible, but i41CX+ is what I turn to for day to day computation and keystroke programming. Thanks again!
