Application Translation Functionality
Bank while opening the account told me that the app will be in English, but the notifications and drill down in the application are not translated in English. That makes this application frustrating.
Sparkasse app-not user friendly
The worst app i have ever used. Impossible to understand how to connect to account. Directions don’t align with screen shots; no assistance from the bank! AWFUL

In the Baumholder Branch, everyone is so nice and helpful, but more importantly, they are patient and they stay with the customer until the situation is solved or a questioned answered.

Good
The app is fine but on my small iPhone, the text field for memo on a transfer shrinks, so I can’t place a cursor and thus can’t edit it. All my memos are thus garbled old data. I’ll do five stars if a developer fixes that.

I‘ve been with them for a long time, been great customer service and easy to use.
Unusable
The last app update on my iPhone did not work. I had to reinstall everything. Then, everything seemed fine as I could transfer money to my own account abroad, but it did not allow me to transfer money to anyone else, telling me that my pushtan was not activated. Now, nothing works :(
No English language option!
The app’s usability would be greatly improved if there were language options! Afterall, Germany is part of the EU, where a multitude of languages are spoken. Most EU citizens do not speak German! Sparkasse should do something about the lack of language options!
Cumbersome and Annoying
This is probably not just an issue with Sparkasse tbh, but more than likely any German bank after spending a lifetime banking on the US. Needing two separate apps, not being able to set up online banking without using both mail and an app, apps only available in one language… the list of shortcomings seems never ending.

Banking needs updating
The crdit card wallet app for iphone does not work with many merchants, I still have to carry the card. My other banks have no problem with 99% of the merchants.
