Worse bank to have an account

They will allow you open an account and wait for you to deposit money into the account. Then send you an sms saying they don’t have to explain why your account was closed and you can not get the money deposited in the account until after 60 days. Meaning they will be using your money for something else and will not care if you have to die. Use the bank and regret it.

Latest version crashes on iPhone

Scenario: app asks me for passcode to login. At the same time ( if relevant or not ) I need to authorise a transaction made on a 3rd party website. After I enter the passcode....the app takes a second or so but crashes every time. I am running latest version of iOS on iPhone 12 Pro

Transaction Alerts

It will help a lot if you are able to send transaction alerts to your customers’ phone nos to get them informed instantly of any transaction in their accounts

Good app

App is overall good, it’s very simple and easy to use and works completely fine and smoothly. However I really really wish NatWest would add more personalization and customization features to the app such as different colour themes and ways of displays accounts and balance. Overall can’t complain though would definitely like some more personalization features.

Delighted

I only recently installed this App. It is easy to use and so convenient. You have all your banking activity at your fingertips and are always in control.

No longer accessible from a non UK number

I was very disappointed to find that this app is no longer accessible from my US phone.

Does NOT support overseas users

Issue after issue and a lot of wasted time with this bank and app.
They do not support those living overseas and refused to let me withdraw MY money after 2 weeks of visiting a branch during my visit back home to the UK.
Closed account and moved elsewhere to a bank that supports its customers and users.

App won’t open

App won’t open and won’t update, stuck in a loop. Has been for over a week. Very frustrating to be without mobile banking for so long.

Graat app, but

Great app that has saved me significant amounts of time in administering daily finances and making payments.
My only real gripe would be that the most recent update seems to have done away with a facility I used to find really useful, that of the ability to see how much had been paid off a credit card’s last statement, prior to the final payment date. For cashflow reasons, I make payments towards my credit card bills throughout the month, rather than paying off in one go. I used therefore used to find the facility really useful to know how much more of the previous statement’s total I still had to pay off before the final date for payment. I now have to add up any interim payments I’ve made, which is a real pain.
Regarding credit card payments, it would also be really useful to have some kind of automated ‘count-down’ reminder of when cards needed to be paid by, rather than having to keep checking the statements individually. Other than that, a brilliant app !

Good but no pay-in by scan

A phone camera can scan in a cheque to pay-in. And then credit the sum to your account.
Surely the best British banking app would have that feature. They’ve been doing it abroad for 3 years now....
