We have been using Southwest for over 10 years and just love this airline. Having traveled throughout our years with various airlines, we have found Southwest to be the best for travel. We love the “lineup”😁 and choosing of our seats. Staff are usually exceptional. Thank you!

I love SWA
I’ve been flying SW for nearly 50 years. It’s my airline of choice whenever I fly. I don’t like the idea of changing to assigned seating. It’s no coincidence the logo is a heart. That’s what I see in SWA. What I love most is the flexibility, excellent customer service, professionalism, levity among the flight attendants that help us to relax and enjoy the ride. I will continue to choose SWA even when seats are assigned. I hope nothing else changes because — in the words of a song, I love you just the way you are. Speaking of songs, on one of my first flights on SWA from Kansas City to Oklahoma City many many years ago, the attendants had us laughing the whole way. I still recall the song they sang to You Are My Sunshine—it went something like this: “You are our sunshine, our only sunshine. You make us happy when skies are gray. You’ll know just how much we love you. Please don’t take our sunshine away. Those other airlines, they treat you funny. They take your money. They rob you blind. With Southwest Airlines we feed you peanuts. And we get you there on time.” Two weeks ago on a flight from ATL to MCI, I had a similar experience. The flight attendant had us all laughing. Laughter is medicine for the soul and it can certainly help soothe the nerves of weary travelers. Nearly every experience I’ve had on SWA has been fun!!! Thank you. Keep it up!!

Multi city to single
I needed to change my multi city trip to just one. I spent over 1hr with a lot of silent time only to have both my flights canceled& refunded! I called back got a new Rep who said No, your flights were Non Refundable hold so you do not qualify for a refund, hold on let me see what’s going on…more silence. Finally after just over another hour ish, my 2 flights were refunded because the system for some reason glitched and couldn’t get anything other than my RRs which Im now unable to use and have to completely purchase a new flight on my own, forgot to mention… my refund could take upto 30 days to go back to my account!!
I call back a 3rd time just to be sure it was a bank refund and not a flight credit and the rep assured me it was going to my bank acct and this rep was very helpful by booking the flight I needed!
After nearly 3 1/2 hours on the phone back to back calls, the last Rep made all my stress & worry feel at ease!!
I wish I remember her name because southwest could use more phone reps like her! One that explained, offers solutions and wants to actually help your flyers!! Everything could’ve/ should’ve been done on the 1st call but putting customers on hold then saying tech difficulties you’re being refunded isn’t settling!!!

Menu is horrible
Why is it so hard to find existing bookings. It’s the main feature/most used.
Southwest is the new spirit
Southwest has really gone downhill. Used to be my preferred airline for me and everyone in my company, but this was the last straw and my last flight I’ll ever book with them. The plane was initially delayed for over an hour for an “undisclosed reason” (which we later found out, was there mechanical )leaving us missing our connecting flight out of Houston to Denver. Then they didn’t even have a SW gate available for the plane when it got there so we had to wait for a Spirit Airlines plane to come in, hook up, deplane and move back out of the way so the SW flight could pull into their spot which was another hour and a half. Then by the time they got everything situated for the SW plane it started raining and we were delayed yet again for an hour. They then boarded the plane and we literally sat on the plane for another hour and a half while they waited for a gas truck to fill up the plane. They then rebooked our connecting flight for 5am the next morning (after we got in at 11 PM ) like that was convenient. They then made a million excuses and didn’t give us anything for our trouble, not even the hotel room they promised. I’m now out the hotel fees, a day of work, a rental car fee, our dogs boarding for three labradors, parking for my car in Denver and most importantly our time on our honeymoon. they promised us a hotel before we left and they totally screwed us when we got to Houston. Never again! You were up there with spirit in my opinion.
