No show and charge

I would not use this company. I ordered a cab it stated the driver was on his way and all of a sudden it said that I was in the cab and going to the airport. No one showed up to pick me up and I was charged. This company allows drivers to steal from customers

Driver cancelled on us

After waiting over 20 min (for a 13 min estimated) - the driver cancelled on us. Do not recommend this app.

ugh

Went through 5 drivers who never arrived before giving up. One of them left the freeway to wait to pick people up at Movieworld rather than come get us from Dreamworld.

Only Australians Can Use It

Unfortunately if you’re not from Australia you can’t use this service because you need to sign up using an Australian phone number only.

No use this service

I have to request to my bank to get a refund , they never gave me money back, they don’t have customer service for American numbers and the phone provide it in the app never pick up

When I went to sign up you have to have an Australian phone number.

Your “booking” isn’t a booking; it’s just a request

Downloaded app to book cab for airport next morning. After going through the setup process, we “booked” trip. After we did this, the app said “your request is confirmed”, not “your booking is confirmed”. I used the “call us” feature in the app to contact company. The operator said, “We have your request. Your request will be sent to drivers tomorrow morning, 15 minutes before the requested time.” When I asked, “So, we don’t actually have a booking?”, she just repeated the above script again and again. Just unbelievable. The moral of the story is: don’t use this if you want a confirmed booking before an important trip. Your request is just that; it’s not a booking. If you actually want to reserve a cab, use Uber. Simple, straightforward and reliable. Cost in 13cabs was $43. Uber was $26. Comparing the experience with 13cabs vs with Uber, it is like night and day. 13cabs is a dinosaur and will soon be extinct, wiped out by a company that provides a clear and reliable way to do something very, very simple.

Major oversight

Why would you only be able to register with an Australian mobile number? Lots of people visiting from overseas won’t have one. This means no travel history, and no support from them when something goes wrong, which it will because the drivers are terrible.

I want to like this app

It’s nice to have an alternative to Uber especially when their fares are surging. Sadly I’ve only had bad experiences using this app. The UI is bad. The app dropped back to the start and then I find I was charged twice for a ride - that never showed up!! They also don’t have a easy way to message or call them to find out what’s going on. Now I have to call my credit card company and have the charges cancelled. All they have to do is mimic Ubers app or Lyft…

Useless

I have booked one trip which acknowledged the “booking request” but doesn’t confirm if the booking was successful. Tried to book another trip but just said “call”. What’s the point in the app!
