Trash company with delays
NS is getting worse by the day.. always delayed. This is what it’s like when you have no competitionDon’t try opening account if you only speak English
How many English speaking people know the Dutch for United Kingdom-
The English version still uses Dutch once you are passed the home page and I failed to sign up as it doesn’t recognise house names or Uk address formats.
You may be able to buy a ticket easy but lot preload your cc details easily. Needs work done on it for international visitors.Show lessGood app, but adjust walking distances please
I use the day a few times a week and generally it's the best way to plan public transport. I would live to see a possibility to adjust the amount I'm willing to walk to reach the train station. My office is just in-between two train stations, and one is a 14-minute walk, the other a 16-minute walk. The app only ever shows me trains from/to the first station. Alternatively allow choosing two train stations as possible start/end point. Thank you!Show lessDon’t waste your time.
Login fails repeatedly. Not only for myself, but my son who also attempted to use the app. We thought creating a personal account on the website might help, but the website constantly failed with “cannot verify the address” messaging. The app may just be a front end for the NS website. Either way, don’t bother wasting your time.
Update: the developer responded with an irrelevant answer, which I won’t bother refuting. The basic problem still exists; trying to login after creating an account ends with an error stating “try again later”. This error is posted many times throughout the reviews and not once is it answered (I waded through seeking an answer before submitting a negative review). Sorry, app is useless.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hello ziptwang. Thank you for your feedback. The question I want to ask you in return is why you need an account? Having an account is advisable if you have an NS subscription. You can only get a subscription with an address in The Netherlands. For planning trips and buying e-tickets for example, you don't need an account. If after reading this information you still want an account, I advise you to contact NS customer service at https://www.ns.nl/en/customer-service/contact.Simply the BEST!
In all my travels, I find the Dutch public transit system to be quite possibly the best so far! A fully integrated/intermodal system of quality trains/buses/teams/bicycles complimented with accurate and VERY detailed real time app/online information the traveller is always informed, to the minute! Keep up the great work!Show lessLog in does not work
Plase fix this issueLanguage is set to English, but much is still in Dutch
Eg (some, if not all) notifications are in Dutch. Can’t log in
Same problem as prior person. Can’t log on. Get an error to try later. Been trying for a week and same error. Logged in on website but it doesn’t provide for United States users. So essentially, the website and app are uselessLekker makkelijk
Show less
