  • Crashes. Unusable.

This worked great for a week or two, then they updated to work with os11, too bad it doesn’t work - at all. Unfortunately I already paid my $40 - for an app that doesn’t work, which means it’s done. Teachers don’t have time to wait for bug fixes. Kids are back on Monday. If it’s not fixed by Monday we will be using something else! This app simply crashes - completely non-functional.

  • It keeps crashing after 2 minutes

I have used this app since the beginning and never had so many problems until this latest update. It keeps crashing after two minutes. I can't backup or sync because it times out or just shuts down. Ugh! Please fix these issues.
  • Great app,but.......

I love this app so far, but I wish there was a way to copy a lesson for the day in more than one class so I wouldn't have to type it over in every class period.
And a way to keep a journal on a kid other than good or bad behavior. Like if I talk to a parent by phone and not email. Other than this I love it. I haven't tried the grading book yet but I plan to. Thanks for this app, I have to say I don't regret paying for it.

  • Crashes an has bugs

I'm a 15-year teacher, and I've used a fair handful of grading and classroom organization programs. While this is one of the better mobile apps, it is fairly simple, but has a few bugs. For example, it crashes often when I try to put in a new assignment to grade, and it seems odd to me that I can't put the same assignment into two classes of students. When I do this, it says "this assignment already exists in another class," and deletes my entry.

Also, I'd like to be able to transfer one student from one class to another. To do this, apparently we have to transfer all grades and information by hand to the new class, and delete the student from the original class. It seems obvious to me that transferring a student with all info between classes should be a common thing for an app like this.

Lastly, moving students' seating arrangements is finicky. At times, the automatic "snap to grid" feature of aligning students in rows/columns will actually prevent a student from being seated where you want to drag their icon, making arranging them frustrating. I'd just as soon remove the alignment feature and let the user eyeball it. A seating chart doesn't need to be a perfect grid!

  • Like the app

I like the app but it keeps going out when I am adding existing students. I have to keep opening the app and starting over...very time-consuming.
  • Very little support and some basic features missing

I liked some of the features but when it stopped working no one got back to me even after numerous emails. They then auto renewed even after I requested not to and the process was a long and convoluted one to break that contract. Good basis stuff but don't expect much in the way of help.😒
  • When will you fix this app?

There were previous updates to this app that added new features and helped to improve it. Eventually I updated to the paid version because of the extras that were included.
However with the latest 2 updates many features that were previously added to the app have been dropped, moved to other areas or are to be found in a new paid version. For some reason my paid version of the app is now just the free version and the company wants more money for those features I had.
Avoid this app until it cleans up its act.

  • Mandy S

I have used this app almost since its inception and have really enjoyed what it has to offer. However, I would really like to have an opportunity to comment on each assessment. I feel that this really limits the use of this app considerably. Please, extend the marks so that each entry can have a notes link. I sometimes add notes in the "notes" option, but the transition is not smooth enough and each note to be added needs to have its own title.

Also adding a curriculum (daily) would be great so that a single app could be used for everything a teacher needs.

  • Disappointed

The app was great, easy to set up, customize and use until it crashed about a week ago. I lost all the marks I had entered that session and can't add anymore. Emails to tech support unanswered. Tips I see in the support forums suggest saving everything to a PC/Mac and deleting and re installing but for a problem different than mine.

  • The Ground Level

I think this app is really useful in the ever-evolving technology that teachers use. This style app will eventually take over the mark-book.

However, although there is huge potential for this, it won't be achievable until the app is designed for more efficient and fluent use.

The grading system needs to be variable according to the class you teach. I teach both BTEC and GCSE classes and I am very limited as I cannot mark according to the BTEC criteria of Pass, Merit & Distinction as I have already set it for the GCSE grading format.

Secondly, the behaviour section is very time-consuming. You have to type in every behaviour for every pupil. There should be an area to simply tap options (such as that in the ClassDojo app) but perhaps an area of 'recently used' or 'favourite' behaviours so that you don't have to type in "No Homework" and the reason for every pupil that doesn't bring it. The general behaviour options that should already be on the app should be both positive and negative, with the option of adding behaviours and/or symbols to any behaviours not listed.
