Can’t change flights on the system

It’s been more than several weeks that am trying to change my flight details on the app, also on KLM website, but the system always directs me to error page and says: ‘something went wrong’. The only way to change a flight details is to call customer service which is extra effort, time and cost. How is it possible that a glitch like this can persist for more than 2 months now, without being fixed?? Are you guys maintaining this app or website at all? It’s really disappointing

Good service airline

Unmanageable check-in process

We had a connection flight with a stop-over in Amsterdam. Unavailable to choose seats with a spouse in a row in check-in process or earlier. Seats went randomly or payment process failed. Finally chose and paid for seats in the back in 6 hours before the flight.

Hello, on the mobile application, you can select your seat when purchasing your ticket or in "My reservations" for a personalised experience, at an additional cost. At check-in, seat selection is free of charge, but limited to available seats. The KLM mobile team.

Slow app and glitches

The app its not intuitive. I was trying to book different seats and it was not easy to navigate to the option or to switch between passengers. Also I couldn’t change or buy seats before checking in which is stupid.

Booking

It’s quite possible it’s me (almost certain)
But I find it super hard to navigate the website to book a ticket
Anyways got it done and I’ll always fly klm no matter how complicated the website is.
Service is outstanding keep up the good work 😊

Does not work with iPhone 7!

I posted a review complaining about the lack of app support now for iOS15. The app no longer works on my phone. I was very clear in my request for you to make a clear statement about Whether or not KLM was abandoning customers with older phones - expecting us to spend much money on a new phone just for KLM. I was very clear that I did not want your copy-and-paste reply. With regret you chose to show a lack of respect by replying with the copy-and-paste reply. I request a clear answer on why KLM are no longer supporting iOS 15. iOS 16 is NOT, I repeat NOT, required for security, iOS 15 is perfectly safe for an airline app. Your stated reason is not correct. Do KLM plan to support existing customers by maintaining support for iOS 15?

Terrible airline and terrible app

The app is not usable (crashes), and the airline is a scam. They delayed our flight by 3 hours so we missed the connecting flight. Their system automatically scheduled us on the next flight the next day, which had a connection in Istanbul using a different airline. When we arrived there, they told us we didn’t actually have seats and were just on the waiting list! We were stuck in Istanbul and they booked us on yet another flight with yet another airline. Then when we got to the airport for that flight, they had booked the ticket with an old “valid until” date and the airline wouldn’t issue our ticket! They said KLM had to fix it. When we called them, they said everything was fine in their system! Stuck in Istanbul for 4 days! When we go to their website or app to file a reimbursement claim for our expenses, it says “internal server error”! What a scam company.

Wonderful app

So easy to use and navigate!

Many problems

My experience with this app was not great.
For example, 3 days before my flight I upgraded to a better seat. I picked it in the app, went to payment, but it came back with an error message. But at the bottom of the page it says free change. And wenn going back it showed the new seat. A day before my flight I checked in and noticed that the seat was not changed. This time I was able to pay for it and the seat change registered correctly.
There are several problems like this. Not a fan.

Unwanted ad notifications

The app pushes notifications for “Offers and deals” by default. I turned the setting off - and it turned itself back on later. This is unacceptable and an automatic one star.
