App not allowing check in

Latest update returns an error with ‘travel document not valid; please check in at airport’ when attempting to check in. Checking in via the website (not app) returned no such problem and I was able to successfully check on via the website without issue. Hopefully this can be solved in the next update!

No longer compatible with older phones

App no longer accessible due to new version incompatibility with older phones. Annoying.

No-one there!

Impossible to contact KLM to send message; nothing normal - where one can have a conversation - only boxes and pre-arranged responses. In desperation tried to telephone - waited for one and a quarter hours listening to the same 4 bars of repeated ‘music’ being told ‘Thank you for holding. Your call will be handled very shortly’. Obviously no-one there. It is a lie to say that to you to encourage you to wait. I find it very difficult to understand the mentality behind what they do when they could be honest and upfront saying the waiting time is 90 Minutes or 2 hours or whatever - incredibly frustrating and annoying when one has other things to do!

The App state that it takes visa Debit, but it kept sending me an error message untill I missed a cheap flight

Used to be great, but now I can’t use it anymore

Great app, and used it almost daily (I fly a lot) until the automatic update installed a new version which pops up a screen that tells me to update it, which it won’t let me do since it requires iOS 16, while I have an older iPhone. Previously when this happened, they fixed it, by reminding me that I needed to update to “use all the latest features” and I could press okay and still use the app which was still working fine. Now I’m again stuck with this “press update” only message rendering the perfectly working app in the background inaccessible. KLM joining Apple to force me to upgrade my perfectly fine iPhone? How sad…
