Great transportation
Easy, fast, comfortable transport from Heathrow Airport to Paddington station. Have used it several times and it’s my go to transportation for London.
Pathetic app that doesn’t actually sell tickets occasionally
The app sometimes doesn’t work. It says you are offline when you are not (like right now, as I am obviously able to post this review). It says there are no tickets available when there are 20 people lined up to sell you tickets as soon as you step off the plane. It sometimes doesn’t recognize that you are logged in to your account, instead extolling the benefits of having an account. And so forth. Up your game, guys!

App never loads
The app has suddenly developed an issue whereby it doesn’t function when using data. Once connected to WiFi, it works. But whenever using data, no part of the app functions. Customer services just claim that everything is working fine when contacted though X. Sort this out as it’s incredibly frustrating and plenty of people have the same issue.

Not possible to change ticket
I recently downloaded the app in order to purchase tickets for travel the following day. Not being familiar with the app I did not realize I had purchased 2 tickets for travel in the wrong direction until too late. The app does not permit any type of change to the ticket only the opportunity to apply for a refund. I was refused a refund because of the ticket type. This apparently means I had wasted £30 and would need to spend a further £30 to get the correct tickets, making £60 for a 15 minute train trip! In this day and age with sophisticated electronic purchases it seems ridiculous that a simple change of direction cannot be achieved via an app.

Tickets 20% more expensive than in person at airport
I just landed at T3 from an overseas trip. I bought 2 tickets for the Heathrow Express to Paddington just on my way from the plane to passport control. I paid £50. Imagine my surprise when I see 2 tickets advertised for £40 at one of the many booths along the way to the trains. The app should be cheaper and you should reward who buys through that. Simple marketing techniques.
Very very disappointing. So the one star is not for the app (sorry guys) but for the marketing of your tickets which needs to be coordinated with your sales and digital team.

App does not support importing tickets
The app lacks a fundamental feature: import a ticket into my account. From what I can see, the only tickets that will show in the app are those purchased through the app. If you have a ticket purchased via another method, it cannot be imported into the app. Not having the feature makes the app barely useful.

App tells me I am offline but I am not
Spent most of the day trying to purchase tickets but kept failing to make payment with the app telling me that I was offline. At the same time I was receiving these messages from the app, I was still able to stream videos no problem so this looks like an inherent problem with the app. Has happened before also.

Easy to use and book tickets
Never used an app like this before. Easy to use, purchased tickets. Email client saw messages as potential spam, but easy to mark as not spam.
Tube ticket surprise
Finding out at the end of the process that adding a tube ticket means my ticket now needs to be collected at a booth or machine = very poor UX.
You should give passengers the choice *ahead of time* by informing us that adding a tube ticket will involve an extra stage - finding machine, queueing, keeping the ref number handy - in the process.
All tickets should be downloadable straight to the phone wallet, and if you can’t do that you should say so before purchase.
