Poor IOS integration
Does not integrate into Files app well all it does is just opens up the app from within the Files app so you cant move files easily so whats the point? Waste of time.Payforthis
Needs updates
I’d think after a few months. It’s time for an update. 300 videos are none of which are big file videos by any means. Over a whole day for the first time to download them back to my phone for a bit and only 60% of the video library downloaded onto the phone. Here I am 4 attempts later and it’s still taking hours to do just a little over 40 now.Show lessCaden342
Lost folders with files
During move folders from one place to other large amount of folders disappeared. Out of 200 GB was drop 70GB. Basically folder to copy disappear from source before is finished move.Nosalus

This is a decent app overall, but I wish it would integrate properly with the Apple Files app so it shows up properly instead of a pop-up window. Come on Synology, it’s been over a year…time to fix this!jasondunn
It’s just read only which is kind of weird
Pop open a browser and you can do any reads or writes, but the only modifying you can do in this app is uploads. No copying files or moving folders which feels like a very strange omission.Glarrien Dasser
MP4s only play for 11 seconds max?
I don’t normally write a review and had been happy, however over the past few weeks when trying to review downloaded videos on my iPad Pro, videos either do not play or play for 11 seconds max... then stop? This is regardless of video length or size.
The videos are recorded from my Samsung phone and transferred to my Synology NAS via DS file on the phone. When I review the same videos on DS file on the Samsung I have no issues? I have fast download and upload WiFi so it is not that.
I had a message regarding video codecs whilst watching a video in the iPad Pro DS file app whilst watching a video several weeks ago, it made a recommendation so I selected ‘ok’. It has not worked since. My iPad Pro is up to date as is your app.
Please advise as this is extremely annoying and impacting my workflow.Show lessAnnoyed 111111111111111
Can’t download multiple files to camera roll etc w/o share
Have to use share to download one at a time to camera roll or another application. You can’t select multiple files to share to somewhere on your phone.
Can’t view video or tiff previews. Can’t play videos of any type even iPhone videos.Ranscapture

Inconsistent automatic photo backup
Automatic photo backup in the background doesn’t work at times. App has to be open to upload the photos. It won’t upload automatically in the background if the app is closed. Please fix.JG61345
Very good, but one feature could make it great
Love using this app, but the main thing that drives me crazy is that when I am uploading pictures from “files” (not “photos”) on my iPad, I cannot select more than one picture at a time. So as i’m trying to upload 150+ pictures from a photo shoot, I am doing this 1 by 1.Desiandlegs
